Nie mooi nie maar maklik

Referring to the Maties jersey design??

Funny story - Fourie Kotze tells the tale that he was ONE of the designers of the jersey!!!!

I'm thinking...how many people did it take to design such a fugly shirt????  Mind you, we were, and still are, proud of that jersey.  I still have mine - pure wool!!

Counting from 1984 till the 3rd of Nov = 251 702km.

Started riding in 1983, but did not record mileage.

I need an oil change...

Still some way off that toppie that claims he's done 1 000 000 km!

2008 FC. This was my view for a few days, eventual Winner Tim James' back wheel.

you might notice that wheel is 26inches in diameter and gets slowed down by a cable pulling a rubber strip onto the rim.

that was the last time the winner used one of those.

also notice the amount of on bike storage, everything else went into/onto the backpack!

here's my rig, le SC superlight also 26" rimbrakes

note the extensive on bike storage used to lighten the load!

sometimes you have open roads and sometimes you get stuck in the mud...red CS shirt did it all!

naught bru, you've got the million right but he started when imperial distance was still a thing in the sensible world, so increase it by 60%!
