Hi hubbers

Can anyone tell me why everyone is selling their sram level brakes.

Are they bad brakes

Or

Do they give problems

What gives you the impression that everyone is selling their level brakes?

Over 7000km on my Level TLM brakes and only one brake lever was repaired under warranty and that was at the first service as the serial number fell within the range that SRAM stated to the distributors as potentially troublesome. there wasn't anything actually wrong with the lever.

Front brake is on its 2nd set of pads , rear is on the third set ( i run organic in the back brake for better feel and modulation.)

they've been absolutely fantastic

Been riding Sram Level TL brakes on my #hardtail for over 2 years now without any issues. Having always used Shimano, I was curious in the beginning, but soon came to like the modulation, and they stop just fine too. I replace pads when worn, clean pads and rotors regularly enough, etc. etc.

Mt TL rear brake got spongy one hot day coming down Breedts Nek nd Cape Cycles have just replaced iboth with TLM.

Pity I still have the TL calipers, the TLM is the bees knees.

BTW they have a 3 year warranty cos they put in *** seals when launched.

Droo do you mean like maintain the brakes and they will work well forever??!!!

Who would have thought hey

What is this main-tain-ens of which you speak?

Most hubbers are notorious for wanting a fix an forget approach, like eskom, saa, transnet, etc

and lots of incomplete shimano sets, either calipers or levers, cos you cant get one without the other

Yeah, Sram breaks, you fix it. Shimano breaks, you replace it.

My record is 12 years on a set of Juicy 7s. And I sold them at the end, still working fine...
