From next year points will be awarded for XCC again which will count toward an overall winner for the world cup title.

A win in the short track is a win on your resume, Perhaps there are those who do a calculated finish to ensure they are on the front row and are not so fussed about winning it.Let's say I'm Nino, if henrique is burning matches while I'll still start top8 it's a good day cause Sunday I'll be fresher and starting right next to him in the race that actually decides the wc winner   Look I certainly understand how boring it would be if they raced balls out for 7 laps and then just rolled to the finish but it's just a bit hard to wrap my head around
