After being in res and having to wash the seniors dishes I vowed I’d get a dishwasher as soon as I could afford it. Now I hardly ever wash a dish. F that.

I don't know why everyone insists on using a a new clean plate/mug/glass.. just rinse the damn thing after you make a sarmie/have a cup/glass..

I'm the only one in the house who can iron, well, I suppose the wife can, but she pretends that she can't. Both the boys tell me I'm the "master", having had my training in the military.......I know they are just buttering me up to do the odd shirt for them.

Apparently there is an incorrect way to hang washing.

I didn't even get to hang washing before I was told I need to wipe the clothes line first before I hang the washing.....I quit on the spot which predictably did not go down well
