I'm confused with okes claiming supertuck is dangerous, energy intensive, and not all that fast.

In my experience getting my centre of gravity this low and spreading my arms to full bar width is more stable than what will now be the remaining legal aero descending positions.
If you are not stable in this position then don't do it.

When I tuck I'm sitting mostly on my pedals with some slight top tube contact and some slight knee contact on the down tube. I'm comfortable and relaxed and catching my breath, not expending any energy.

Not fast? Supertuck is super fast. It's not a couple of seconds that are negated by the need to come out of the tuck. What? It's a fat chunk of seconds even on short descends where you would have to be aero and pedalling like mad just to get remotely close to the same speeds.

The supa tux was instrumental in gapping Eddie and Greg in the first rainbow jersey for Sagz Baby, turning a 3 man drag race into one of the finest solo attack in Worlds.

indeed.

and froome's tuck was also useful in winning him the stage.

but the surprise element is gone now. so they will all just do it.

how it is going to be implemented is difficult to say,

That was the best late night cycling I have ever watched. I remember it like it was yesterday. I am sure all my neighbors were woken up by my shouting. My wife was heavily pregnant at the time and I disturbed her sleep but I didn't really care much.

They will add a lot more motos and helos to film every rider. Each rider will have a moto following them closely with a helo hovering very low.

Has anyone ever tried getting out of the ST position in a hurry (emergency) without having their saddle taking their pants and some skin with?
