Jip trek madone speed but without aero bars just an Sl6

Ah I didn't know it was the same bike underneath, cool. I know the fat letters are polarizing but I love it.

I think the drawback comes that i had Trek for 2 days experience it I know what its about.

Cant get the cannondale its a brand new one.

And they say its the only 2021 systemsix in SA and no more are getting imported. "They Say"

Always nice having something no one else has but the not knowing if its better i think is my problem ????

Like @thomo said q dilemma

i can say without a shadow of a doubt the Trek will be a more forgiving ride.

the Cannondale designs shows for an extremely rigid seatpost - eina

plus those external cables are so 2018

(side note, i own a trek madone and have never ridden the cannondale)

nothing against cannondale, my mtb is a scalpel

Hot dang, I say that Trek.

That Trektor has font size issues, hey.

These are both worthy machines, Conni.

What matters also is what components you get with it at what price. You would not want to upgrade in 12 months because of inferior components. And then, when you sip on your mid-ride coffee, which one will you stare at with love-obsessed eyes.

agree with the above.

which one would make you feel slightly naughty each time you look at it.

that will be different for each person.

for me, my trek still makes me feel like i stole it and am not worth of its awesomeness.

that and after a 100km ride i climb off feeling like i could have done more which again makes me look at it and appreciate how good a bike it is.

yes its heavy, mine is 8.2kgs. but once you've ridden one you really do not care to try any other bike.

Both?

TBH I would have a combination of the 2 :D . There are certain things I like from both. I like both Brands. I prefer the frame shape of the TREK but I prefer the colour of the Dale. It filters down to components as well.

Sorry you have this tough decision.

Sorry I am not helping at all.
