5 min peak power for a handful of seconds, The Shark, always a threat.

So many breakaway wins. I cannot recall with my post-work brain - is this unusual?

What a terrific and catastrophically stupid finish

Bennett you tool hahaha

Brambilla was annoyed all stage.. Complaining about this and that.. But yeah they screwed each other over properly and Brambilla was relegated and rightfully so.

I noticed this in today's interview - the little cuts on Egan's nose. I wondered if it was those new silly Oakley's... ????????‍♂️

Bernal will lose a lot of Italian fans with this gesture.

If youre Italian, you will understand  ????????

I was about to say that today should be an unofficial rest-day for the GC guys, given the profile(200m elevation in 198km. BUT we always know the Giro can do Giro things.... so I checked the wind. We might not have a snoozefest in GC afterall...?

That must be one of the quickest times for the Break to be established, last rider to come across did so at 600m after the flag dropped. ????

C'mon wind....

At least the Break is small enough that the peloton will be forced to wake up at the sprint points along the route...

5min lead for the trio after 20km

I always thought it was an old-school italian hand gesture to ward off evil. I'm not italian but I do like music trivia. The way I understood it, the singer Ronnie James Dio (who is of italian heritage) used to do it at concerts because he saw his Sicilian grandmother do it to protect him from evil. Because he sung in metal bands (and was in black sabbath at the time) the bible belt conservatives did what they always do and said it was satanic and the sign of the devil, despite the fact that it means the opposite.
