A second clip after that showed that both tyres seemed to be flat.
(could have been the shadows though)

The tour is about winning, thats it... if you can win and bring camera time for the team (or support someone to win) then you not to be ignored.

For me Cav was the first, a stage winner. and even when he is not he brings allot of attention for the team.

We only know this from the perspective of  sky sports. Other Chanels are not covering Cavendish quite as much.

anyway, Jacobsen takes his first 2022 tdf win. QSVF have justified their decision

I thought the same. Form perhaps not there as he would like and then trying to force spaces where there are none.

He was just trying not to get boxes in while everyone else was trying to box him in

He was already boxed in because he initially lost Wout's wheel. He regained the wheel, but was against the wall and Jakobsen... and then proceeded to attempt taking a gap that was not there. Twice. But hey, I'm just a judge on a couch.

This is the nature of sprinting. It’s not for the feint hearted. There’s bumping and barging all the way to the line. As long as you’re not blatantly head butting or using your hands or elbows to push other riders you’re within guidelines.
