His bike isn’t 7.7kg , closer to 7.4kg and the. It’s not that far from other disc brake equipped tour bikes. He makes a complete non sense argument. Those lighter bikes he referenced are specially made for the teams . Lighter than the production bikes we pay R300k for

He said, they said… 300g between his, and the team’s, claim. What we agree on is the nonsensical complaint.

Yeah certainly enjoyed it too. Man that was an emotional affair for the bees. 

 

Jonas opening up of possibly being scared of group riding/descending hits home having gone through the same mental battle myself. 

Always lekker to see it from the "inside".

Snippets while it is quiet in the off-season:

Remco to focus on his climbing superpowers whilst maintaining his TT capabilities? Tadej aims to improve and become a better ride rider in 2025. Yikes.

Jonas seems to be laying down some base miles already in the pre-season, resetting his career almost after a rough 6-7 months.

And the leak was real. The aero bike from Colnago, the Y1Rs, is in the wind tunnel being refined.

Light enough for the high mountains? Unlikely. 

Punchy enough for the hilly Classics? It depends.

Will it wear yellow on the cobbles of the Champs Elysees? Highly likely.
