Mine as well, I paid up as soon as I got the notification to. The longest my package has been sitting at any given place is at their Johannesburg DC, been there since Saturday 10am

Whatapp and Email with pay link is standard ops these days, not a scam.

If you weren't expecting a parcel, then that would be another story.

Check the tracking numbers, it's almost impossible to guess tracking numbers. Also posting the link here is not safe, I can now use it to get your tracking number... Probably best to delete the image.

Pretty much the same thing if I order the identical item from some seller on Takealot for significantly more?

I bought myself a new Android tablet, not via Temu or Ali but from China still, received it last week. The only Android tablet equal to its performance available in South Africa costs at least double what I paid (including the screen protector, the more expensive shipping option, and taxes).

Biggest problem with Temu (if you don't get unlucky with the shipping provider) I see is it is too easy to add stuff you were not planning on buying at the same time 🤦‍♂️ 
I've ordered a protective case for the tablet on Temu (since it is not available in SA of course), and a couple of other useful things at the same time.... but a few things I really did not need, handy as they might be.

Hey be careful - i got a very smooth link from Courier guy for R 18,22 and as i had ordered from temu and was expecting the message I made the mistake of clikcing without looking. Fortunately i saw the rror of my.in time as it was a scam site and i had added my credit cards details.

Then once I managed to stop the cards I got a Whatsapp from Courie Guy support ostensibly asking me if i needed help.

And i work in this industry so its a bit embarassing when i get caught whilst not paying attention....

Murphy's law. The courier rocks up today. No comms between Jhb & CPT from Saturday until today. So much for tracking.

I have had some temu parcels actually arrive - albeit slowly - from SA Post office - got a notie, went and paid duties and collected it - at least twice. So it does happen.

Just received my whatsapp and sms now and paid duties. Mine came via Linex Air Services again.

Package was R1550 and duties came to R342 (includes a pair of shoes & bib shorts).
