RIP Barry aka sir crash a lot

I once bought him a coffee after recognizing him in the coffee queue at the 24 hour at Rietvlei from his shoes that used to be part of his profile pic, or one of his skating pics.  After that we chatted from time to time, until he passed.  RIP Tumbles.

We used to ride at Fountains with the Mtb's and he would rock up on a road bike and then ride with us, of course falling constantly and doing hnimself harm.  Only to repeat it the next time we rode

Ja nee, shared a few beers with Barry and a few Benoni / Bokburg hubbers back in the day at Grapes (?).
Can anyone remember what his dogs were called, if I recall correctly one of his lady friends also a hubber looked after them

When I emigrated, Barry took on one of my boxer pups - he was called Scar as my father-in-law hit him with his car one day and he had some surgeries and pins to repair things. Barry gave that dog a great life and I was forever grateful. When Barry passed away, Karen Denise (AKA Nancy Drew) took Scar into her home and gave him an amazing life for 7 years. Scar passed away in May of 2024 and Karen Denise (AKA Nancy Drew)  reached out to let me know. She is/was gutted about it.

I have always judged people based on how they treat animals, and both Barry and Karen Denise (AKA Nancy Drew) are/were great people.

Edited because I am a moron and got Denise's real name wrong in my original post and I should try better.

He once rocked up to a ride at Suikerbosrand on his MTB with similar results. Great lad. RIP
