not to bothered really, but the 11yr old stoker is not impressed! Maybe i didn't stick the helmet sticker on so lekker but the bike board surely works pretty well.

That's strange. I did not have a helmet sticker on but has received a mail from them with 17 pictures. A few almost identical, but also a few nice ones.

Also no sticker and a bunch of snaps .... most of which leave me thinking "Who's that hoary old hill giant".

I joked the other day that as a young person I didn't think I was particularly good looking / borderline ugly. Now in my late middle age, and actually do look like a worn our tennis ball, I walk around feeling pretty confident about my physical appearance and I look at pictures of the younger man I was and think "Wow you looked fantastic". Life is full of these quirks.

I actually got some nice pics this year .... even one showing the pain as I powered up Suikerbossie. 

 

I had to stop at the water station as my juice ran out ... BIG mistake .... nearly got the cramp of my life trying get going up that little gradient .... It was an epic struggle balancing trying to manage the ever present cramp wanting to set in vs getting some momentum going ...... that pic has some special meaning for me.

 

PS - @Zebra greeted me about 100m later ... I barely recognised him ... heck, I think I saw a man in a hoody shouting my name ..... thought for a moment I was hallucinating .... thankfully he messaged me later ...
