For the techies, I’ve built a quick prototype — a simple React web app that uploads Garmin activities to Strava.

From my understanding, even if Strava removes native Garmin syncing, it should still be possible to upload manually via their API (regardless of device type).

In my case, I’m focusing on Garmin devices and .FIT files. There might already be similar tools out there (I could be wrong), but as a runner who loves Strava and exclusively uses Garmin devices, I want to help keep that connection alive. There are still tons of room for improvement.

I’m experimenting with ways to automate it further, like having a daily script fetch the latest activity and push it to Strava automatically, removing the need to download and upload manually.
