Help with identifying a bike.

I rode my mountain bike in a gravel event this past weekend.

Is it still a mountain bike, or does it identify as a gravel bike now?

There was a bit of tar as well..  did the gravel bikes transform into road bikes there?

No but I do a passing good impersonation of a breaching whale followed by a dead ringer for a brick.

Right helmet, clothing, shoes, pedals, even the correct seat and setup for each personality of this multi-disciplined epic adventure .....

It depends on how "suur" the guys were that you were dropping on your dikwiel

I'm afraid Oom Ben has my number, I brought the proverbial butterknife to a gunfigt. I was completely under geared. Not to mention under trained.
