Bos Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I klap half fingers on summer rides that dont involve to much technical stuff. all else fullfinger. I find having thefingers open is nice a cool. Not that I ever get hot from them though
Fulmenicilus Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I only recently started cycling with FF gloves and it's great!
flex Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I use the Specialized FF gloves:Â Â Â http://www.specialized-sa.co.za/detailequipment.php?equip=203&cat=156Â Â Â Very nice, thin and light and you can definitely feel whats going on in your pockets.
pietermtb Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Definitely full finger, I almost lost a finger in 2007 because I was wearing cut-offs. Hve never worn cut-offs for MTB again
sss000sss Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009  Louis Garneau Evolution    http://www.fitsportslab.com/tabid/54/CategoryID/1/ProductID/31/Default.aspx Agree, the Louis Garneau Evolution are very nice.Â
flex Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Louis Garneau Evolution    http://www.fitsportslab.com/tabid/54/CategoryID/1/ProductID/31/Default.aspx  Those look nice, Mampara. Where did you get yours and how much?
AndreZA Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I got them from Linden and they were about R220 but that was about 18 months ago. Ask Turtlek where and how much they go for these days.
pietermtb Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I'm using Specialized BG, also very good glove. Decent padding. Aprox R500.
Gravity Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I like FF - but ipod control is a mission, til i bought earphones with an integrated volume dial - much easier.
Danger Dassie Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I bought these Troy Lee gloves and they fit .. well, like a glove! http://www.fisheroutdoor.co.uk/public/index.php/product/gloves/troylee/GVT138M.html?Fisherpublic=p3afkgfjp3jhqdusd0pe7tbme1
leet22 Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I wear both all depends on weather. Got a pair of ryder FF , use them on my motorbike as well
cat-i Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 have to wear gloves ... especially if you are used to gloves only had polar-fleece windblock gloves on ride2rhodes (never considered the possibility of good weather) - cycled most of the day without gloves and got serious sunburn on the back of my hands - ouch!Â
BigGuy Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Picking my nose with FF gloves is very difficult, if not impossible.
perp Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Have only worn full finger gloves, the heat doesnt really bother me, wouldnt dare ride with out gloves.Â
chuck Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Â I like FF - but ipod control is a mission' date=' til i bought earphones with an integrated volume dial - much easier.[/quote']Â Sorry of topic but I have to ask - why do you listen to an ipod when cycling in nature? I understand people using them when doing boring mundane things i.e. spinning.Â
Slowbee Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 so the only real advantage of FF is that the gloves keep you warm in winter and really warm in summer ?  Â
