Contermanskloof..........last night

We were there this morning (Sunrise) and found what looks to be like a rather big cats foot prints along a good stretch of ST

We were there this morning (Sunrise) and found what looks to be like a rather big cats foot prints along a good stretch of ST

Ja, I was fortunate enough a couple weeks or so ago to trail a rather largeish rooikat for about 100m or so while it took a rather leasurely stroll along the ST climb after the supertubes section. It was just sublime. Me and my bike with this beaut of a cat totally oblivious, or uncaring, about me...

 

That, ladies and gents, is partly why I ride...

And here i thought snakes is the only danger at Contermans!! :eek:

 

Stopped at other riders and the guy was explaining to one of the girls the size of the cobra that was on her left hand side while she was looking the other way, luckily his speed and noise scared the snake off!!!

 

No one said MTBing is for sissys hey!!!! :clap:  :clap:

Early this year we also saw a big rooikat and the mommy with little rooikats at meerendal at the lower dam near the main road
