Hey Hendrik, That's life..I have said cheers to a stack of good mates here due to the incompetence of the local contractors. Our company is international but has a policy of only keeping chaps here for 2 years..???..somehow I seem to be paying for sins in my other life by being in my 6th year..I have indicated that this is my last though..I think Angola is on the cards...

Thats if you can get there... last week the Angolans stopped all EU airline flights in and out of Angola, tit for tat because the EU banned TAG (Angola's national airline) from flying to EU - result is major hassles for ex pat contractors to get into Angola - hopefully will return to normal sometime soon.

 

Oom H thats a *** one, but like you say there is no point in hanging around places like that if you have no work to keep u busy and help time pass by quickly. Hope you come right...

Ya, I heard something like that..I have flown to Angola a few times with TAG......NEVER AGAIN!!!!...I believe that they own one of the oldest 747's flying....
