I've uploaded hi-res pdf maps to our website-you should be able to download them and print them out for your own purposes.

 

Please remember that they are not ideal for navigation as I haven't mapped every single road and trail in each area.

Hi hubbersI have been busy making a few maps of the most popular mountain bike destinations around Cape Town. I have put them on our website here http://www.irideafrica.com/maps/They are low resolution and rather basic (We use them for general guidelines-NOT NAVIGATION!) but if you would like hi-res ones to print out please contact me.Let me know your thoughts and where else you want mapped (Contermanskloof and Hillcrest coming at some point)

 

 

 

 

These are very cool. I regularly ride in Tokai forest, but it's awesome to see how many trails there actually are!

Hi Mikkelz(?), your maps of Hillcrest and surrounds are exactly what I have been looking for, for a while now. I would like hi-res copies so we can print them up and put them onto signs at the entrances of all our trails in the Durbanville Hills.

 

However, they require a little more detail (landmarks, other trails etc), so I propose to invite you over to ride all the trails Tygerberg mtb Club own and operate to complete the picture (plus a new trail is coming on line in 2 weeks!).

 

Please let me know if and when you are available.

anyone done helderberg farm mtb trail?

I could do a quik one of helderberg farm, but don't know if they would allow the public to ride on it? What is the ystem they have in place there for mountain bikers?

Thanks Daniel, not sure if it would be worth specifically going out to map it. I just saw on their site they have a trail. And I am planning to go check it out this weekend with the girlfriend. Was wondering if its a decent trail more than anything else since its apparently only 10KM.

I have added a map of Table mountain trails to our website. Some of the hiking trails are fun and ridable but it is illegal for mtbers to be on them so I can't say which ones

@The Crow. If you can supply me with the GPS tracks of ALL the trails there then I can get one out. Always meant to get one out but have only got the main routes tracekd so far-don't get out there too often.
