All the rest from spares lying around the house, I love the retro looking stem.

unfortunately had to go with a chain tensioner in the end, which was a pity

Now to see if it gets ridden...

Real crappy frame. I'll collect it from you this afternoon so you no longer have to look at it.

Magic Carpet Ride, as good as it gets

Aaah, MCR = Magic Carpet Ride, sorry i am a bit slow. What a strange name!

Sweet Ride NixM

At the risk of being burnt at the stake by the Niner purists, Why the Tensioner (WTT)? I see the drop-outs on the back, and I assume the frame then does not take an eccentric BB?

Unfortunately the MCR does not have an EBB. Although they share the same geometry as the S.I.R that's the only difference..

Like I said build from spares lying around, didn't want to spend money on an eccentric BB and only the the SIR 9 can run one.

Was so close to been able to run it without the tensioner but not quite there unfortunately.

SIR9 is the EBB version of this frame.

MCR - Magic Carpet Ride

SIR - Steel is real

EMD - Eat My Dust

ROS - Ride Over **** (Stuff).

Etc etc

Okay it has now officially become my favorite bike in my collection!

With a name like MCR I think I should take it to Hogsback for a "trip"
