I'm also looking, apparently there is a guy in PE, who machines a straight steerer with a collar, presses out the tapered steerer and presses in the new, straight steerer.  Will try to get his details.

 

That sounds like another hospital trip to me.

Miss the old days where you could just swop the crown out... 

 

In fact whats the chance of getting an older busted fork and doing a crown/stantion swop?

I have a 120mm fork on my inbred .Works great !

Hows the handling etc? Does it even feel like a big difference?

Hows the handling etc? Does it even feel like a big difference? The taller fork works great for a SS .Standing and pedalling etc .Handling is as good as any other bike

Haven't posted a pic of the One-9 for a while. She turns 12 in December. No updates in a while other than back to a normal chain after trying out one of those half-link stretch monsters. 32x18 to the Tokai mast, no dabs. Slept well.

Howzit Tchjina, good to see you out and about and posting .... 32x18t .... that must have been fun

that bike is so awesome it does not deserve to be fitted with bar ends :P

For standing and pedalling they work better than normal grips .My other bikes don't have bar ends ,but i keep them for the SS
