Managed to climb three of cycling's most hallowed climbs this year.

Mont Ventoux in a howling Mistral

Alpe D'Huez (as part of "La Marmotte")

De Muur (van Geraardsbergen - Ronde van Vlaanderen)

What remains after you have done that?!

So jealous...

I'm really hoping you are blonde? I am female. I really didn't think that posting that fact twice in one post (and for that matter anywhere on the hub) was neccessary.

3hrs 35 in the amashova - on 3 weeks training - and finishing comrades in 10hrs 35 - on a bit more training - which convinced me my future lay in cycling!

Maybe not quite "riding all the way up Everest on a bike", but to me, DOING ALL THE JUMPS IN TOKAI FOREST(except one, if I have to be honest) was the year's highlight. Will take my ax and spade up there one of these days and make the last one jump-able, for me, if I don't get it right soon (before 31 Dec) without alterations.

29th overall in the Tandems in the 94.7 in 2H38 mins and doing the race with paralympic bronze medalist Gavin Kilpatrick. Not everyday a guy gets to ride with an olympian.

Look, the Marmotte was a killer with 5000m climbing in 176km, but that was on a roadbike! Doing it on a mtb is insane. Makes the Epic sounds like a stroll on the beach!

What you doing next year?

Shew!... did not realize Marmotte had that much climbing.

Cape Epic and if I still like sitting on my mtb afterwards maybe Grand Raid, but thats a BIG maybe...
