  1. aaaahh that sounds SO cool! post a pic, will you?????
  2. i just read the thread that H posted a few pages back : http://www.beeld.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/Onbeskofte-Sandton-motoriste-steek-stok-in-fietsren-se-wiel-20110220 made the mistake of readong the reader remarks too. i hardly could believe the hatred; seems like south-africa is not ready for a tour like this
  3. WOW!!!!!!
  4. they were gonna go through taht corner? i drive through it every day, i knew about the tour (only from the hub though), i drove past it yesterday, and cycled past it this morning ... and did not know that they were gonna go past there ...
  5. would it be easy and cheap to take action? when i bought my house, i specifically asked whether the garage's building plans was apporved by council, whether the stove was working, few other things. they could not have 'not known', but afterwards getting the building plans approved and fixing the stove was my problem, it was just too expensive to take action. if the consumer act can get one thing right: access to legal help without costing more than the damage incurred - then it would be VERY positive
  6. i'd love to see a law where if a company decide the debit order amount, that they are forced to have call centre staff with basic maths skills. grade 4 would be great, anything better would be a bonus.
  7. this mostly depends on what your definition of sweet is. to me i's riding flowing singletrack, exploring new places, going back to favourites. a few giraffe or zebra in the mix won't hurt. and a breakfast afterwards. that's sweet.

  19. for mr malema ... that way i'll still have a chance to go to heaven
  20. i ride with flat one side and clip-in on other side, and love it. i can clip in on fast sections where there's a chance of little bumpies, and i can ride on the flat side on really technical climbs, or if something is above my ability ... which then often proves not to be, because i could try it. for me, it's the best of both worlds.
  21. still the best R25 you can spend anywhere in gauteng. did a game-spotting ride with 2 ukranians this mrning, i think they like south africa
  22. i often fall out of my boat when i paddle there ... it's not really 'swimming', but i've been in the water quite often. so far, no incidents.
  23. BC bikerace has been on my radar for a while .... and one day when i'm big i want to do freedom challenge too. will have to wait till i'll have leave again in 2014
