  1. Volvo (and I think some other brands) also offer a subscription service in some countries. You subscribe to the use of your car (i.e. pretty much the same as a long term rental), and should you need a bigger/different vehicle for a holiday or something you can do a swap for that time period.
  2. Judging by the pics of all these installs, with the installers inability to neatly tuck away wires and all the various components, if/when I go down this route I will plan to either build a cupboard to hid everything away or get a server rack type cabinet.
  3. yeah smart controller are another worm hole. And then I went and added a refurbished Google Home Speaker, and now its made me lazy because I can just bark orders and things turn on or off, so now I want more speakers in other rooms too. My daughter is even using it to control the TV lately.
  4. mainly use your car during the day? no problem, just pay-as-you-go for those times you need to use your lights
  5. was thinking about that, many of us ride our bikes just about everyday, so probably just works out easier to leave it "on"
  6. there is a reason some insurers are so cheap
  7. we've claimed him as a saffa

    Formula 1...

I got half excited and then reaslied it would probably cost a small fortune even for the cheapest tickets.
  10. My 2 female cousins have done multiple self supported backpacking adventures through scotland on their own. (They both live there). They never speak of feeling unsafe. But, the weather looks absolutely horrendous everytime they post pics and the insect are so bad in places they wear special nets over their heads and cook inside their tents.
  11. Insane. Even have all my colleagues watching.
  12. it does make me wonder sometimes. At least today up the current climb you can see some suffering, but they're still doing stupid speeds up there compared to what this mere mortal is capable of
  13. ok thats a bit different to what I'm experiencing, for me its the core that it getting blocked. Perhaps the issue is with your valve ? Have you tried using different ones ?
  14. yes, also have that. But strangely only on the rear wheel. Doesnt completely block it, but does make inflating the tyre that little bit more difficult as the air does not pass through as freely.
  15. OK The silicone on mine also came off rather quickly (but DieselDust says they rectified that in future production), but I never had the curling. The silicone coming off never bothered me and the legs still sit tight and snug on my legs. Lycra has held up well on my one, but after being used for around 10 000km the chamois is not as cushy as before.
  16. [comic sans] you need an e-bike to keep up with your mom ? [/comic sans]
  17. you get my stamp of approval.
  18. DSTV But only because I'm at work during broadcast times. Over the weekend I did not watch at all because no DSTV and no subs to GCN or the likes.
  19. I'm probably using more (havent really done the calcs). Reason being is that instead of letting the schedules turn the geyser on and off I'm now turning it on manually, earlier, in anticipation for the power being out during my geysers scheduled on times. So I'm probably running the geyser for longer than usual. And then there is the charging of batteries etc. that would otherwise not need charging if there was no loadshedding.
  20. I'm using some on my lawnmower too.
  21. [comic sans] just remember to do the left hand drive conversion when you get there [/comic sans]
  22. How do I get hold of Ian?
