  1. Chat to your LBS. If they have an Omnico account, they can order for you. The product is good and pretty easy to apply, with some patience. I’m about to get a frame warrantied that had a kit on and I’ve just ordered a second kit for the new frame when it arrives.
  2. I would opt for a MTB over a gravel bike, especially if it is wet...
  3. My Instagram is littered with Milwaukee products. Pity that they are so pricey here. Saw a bare hammer drill for R9,5k if I'm not mistaken and very little products out of the range available here.
  4. Ended up exploding my budget. Dewalt DCD796 impact hammer drill & Dewalt DCF887 impact driver. Just got 1x 5ah battery but will get a second smaller one once my bank account has recovered. Put up a vanity and built side tables today with them, don’t know how I lived without them.
  5. Thanks for this. Realised I missed out the part of adding I wanted it to be a hammer drill. Pretty keen on getting an impact driver as well though. Have a feeling I am going to end up stretching my budget. Have heard from a few that Bosch doesn’t seem to last. There are way too many options out there. Sounds like you are living in tool heaven with those prices.
  6. In the market for a new Impact drill. Still have a Bosch 14.4V which is getting tired. After some reading, brushless is the way to go. Would like to get a brand with a bit of a range that I can expand on with keeping one battery system. Budget around R3k. Have seen the Cat DX12 (R3,3k at Makro with 2x2a + bits), Bosch GSB18V - 50 (R2,6k at Makro with 2x2a) Ryobi XBID-18 (R1,5k bare). Anything else I should consider that will be within the budget? Trying to find reviews on these things is harder than finding new bicycles right now….
  7. D'Arcs have launched a new range which are pretty cool, the Aura (HD) lenses are great. I have glasses from Oakley, 100% and D'Arcs and they are all pretty much of the same quality.
  8. Had the exact same issue. The "repair" is actually a new unit, R4k isn't bad considering the instinct was R2k. Make sure you are charging your device in a 1.2A low voltage output (your laptop works well here), this is what killed my battery and I'm sure it is probably the case with yours too. Sucks that they do not make this clear on the box etc. or supply a proper charging base with it.
  9. With Omnico. Your LBS will need to order from them.
  10. Any bike shop would be able to order for you from Omnico, if they have an account. The chances of getting before the weekend are slim considering it is Friday...
  11. 7x Solar + Sapphire will apparently retail at R19 499.
  12. They left out the part where she went up next to the car and bike after this and asked if she was on the right route and they ensured her that everything was fine.
  13. This new route is going to be uphill for +-40km and then downhill for +-40km. Quite disappointed but I guess nothing we can do. Can't imagine how people must feel that have already booked accommodation in PMB...
  14. A friend sent some gifts for my coffee corner back from Girona. A nice ACME cup & saucer and the best smelling coffee that I’ve ever smelt. Smells so good that I don’t even want to use it.
  15. We bought a house so I am finally able to plumb in my machine as we have designed our own kitchen. The first picture; what it looks like below the sink, second picture; the line supplied with the machine. Anyone in the know of what else is needed? I assume I can run an adaptor so there is two lines off the cold tap. I will run an in-line water filter.
  16. Impossible… Bikes are only landing in September (I think).
  17. Ryder lights have a lifetime guarantee, so if the battery dies - get your local bike shop to do a returns form with Omnico and it will get replaced. I've ridden with a few of them in the rain with no issues. Even wash my bike with the thing on sometimes. Actually, one went to the bin after my puppy found it charging. Garmin Varia/Radar works with Wahoo, if i'm not mistaken.
  18. The unit is compatible with any ANT+/Bluetooth HRM, Speed or Cadence sensor. However, your LBS should be able to order the Xoss HRM, Speed/Cadence sensor (it can be used as either, so if you want both, you'll need two units if you don't want to use the GPS Speed).
  19. Ordered last Thursday at 4pm, had a tracking number within minutes. Order arrived on Monday morning. Quick and painless.
  20. Chat to Clive @ Dura Cycles, Rob @ Saddle & Shack or Mo @ Bobby’s cycles. They should be able to assist with ride groups down the coast.
  21. Have an order from them being delivered today. Got sent a tracking number 20 minutes after I ordered, and that was close to 5pm.
  22. I've shared the details in a PM. There's an Apartmento with the same grinder available still ;-)
  23. Massive upgrade from my Breville... Bluebird Roastery - Kilimbi Lot 6.
