  1. Snap...My 1st reaction was 11spd shifter with 10spd cassette....
  2. I have Campy Chorus and it is faultless shifting. You should take this back to the LBS you bought this from for a look. Another clip past the bottom cog seems to be a indexing/cable tension issue? Finish Line Cycles in Kempton sells Bianchi's with Campag so they should be able to help. Otherwise @JMK1 will be able to assist.
  3. R11k (shipping for seller)
  4. The disk brakes, amongst other things, will be boat anchors...
  5. My few cents worth. I don't buy top end - don't see the value. Love Elite, but not willing to pay the price. So most of my bottles are the goodie bag freebies, apart from the 2x 1litre Ryder bottles I bought some time ago. No issues with the shape. On cages. Supacaz plastic holds the bottles firm on the Niner gravel bike, moved from Blackburn . The Blackburn ones worked ok, but are quite flimsy and tend to fail at the frame screws over time. On the Giant road bikes - normal plastic Giant ones (those that supports the bottle high up) On the MTB - Giant or the old (and heavy) Profile Design ones Never loose bottles
  6. Switzerland is a postcard, but a little too neat for me...everything in its place... Italy, is there a better place to visit? History, passionate people, scenery, culture, food, classy, the list is endless...
  7. Meanwhile.. I'm enjoying my loud and slow mechanical 2012 Campag Chorus 11 spd groupset on my 2012 Giant rim brake bike (weight = 6.82kg with pedals) crossing the finish line in 101st place.... whilst not worrying to charge another battery last night. If only I had this groupset...I could have made the top 100... the utter disappointment... will take it up with my mental coach next week on how to work through this ordeal...
  8. They have to justify their existence....
  9. I don't think Sagran has that type of pull on Supersport... in 2024 Anyway Giro now continuing beyond Thursday, as well as Tour of Hungary. Supersport got calibrated...
  10. We need to check from Thursday onwards, when Tour of Hungary starts.. Giro seems to disappear again
  11. I'll rather have the Giro....
  12. Perhaps RAI will give us a bit of a peek??
  13. The F..ers. No Giro on DSTv it seems!!!! But full coverage of the ladies Vuelta, and repeating the highlights of certain classics
  14. What a cool interview and love Matt's temperament!!!
  15. There are plenty financial metrics in the business world, that tells you if each expense line items falls inside an acceptable level, and if not, shareholders will call you out. Part and parcel of running a sustainable business. So no these expenses are certainly not free. Point is, it certainly does not make sense for a push bike to be R250k+, nor does it make sense that a Richard Mille is $100k+ Good luck for you if your manage your business such that you can determine the product asking price based on being desirable. We all knew the bike industry was waiting for a sense check...
  16. John Wayne's sister is rubbish. For an East Rander, R200 a bottle is serious stuff.
  17. Very sad indeed, they sponsored me and Pierre Smit in '86 when I was riding juniors. I was very proud of the multicoloured Cyclosport jersey. The shop has been in the family since!!
  18. Or Finish Line Cycles in Kempton...
  19. Seems surreal not to see Wout's name on the list
  20. Seems so, but massive Epic broadcasts and Tour of Catalunya
  21. Meanwhile.... https://www.news24.com/sport/othersport/wada-suspends-south-africas-doping-laboratory-over-multiple-non-conformities-20240305
  22. Agree, you don't win the Tour in Feb, but a good start nonetheless!!
  23. I also had to start this running thing earlier in the week. Will be working very long hours the next 2 months, so perhaps a run or 2 will help maintain the fitness somewhat. Running is HARD on the (my) body!!! I'm fine from a HR perspective, but the rest of me is shot, and I'm only running a 2.5 (16min). I'm sure it will get better.
  24. A proper bastard. The Yanks and Japanese working under the control of the Italians. With no infighting. 2024 is certainly weird!!!
