Well, after 13 games we had 26 points. Led the league on 2 separate occasions, albeit for short periods of time, and beat the current champions to kick off the new year. Since then its been woeful, been stuck on 29 points forever it seems. Tomorrow we need a point.

 

Not as bad as Birmingham though, what happening there?

We are in freefall, although we did beat Wednesday yesterday. Things looking bleak as the teams around us in the relegation zones have games in hand.

We flattened Firefly Lane in a week. That was surprisingly funny.

Our dismal season continues. Birmingham City is now one place above the relegation zone and just can't get a result. Luckily Wednesday were given a six point penalty prior to the season starting.

 

Think it's time to find another team to support. Just because I was born in sight of St Andrews doesn't mean I have to be loyal.

I hope Fawad doesn't become a batting coach one day. I thought Chanderpaul looked ugly batting. Fawad takes it to the next level.

 

I assume somewhere in the MCC coaching manual it says to point your leading leg towards the umpire before receiving the delivery. I'm sure they didn't mean have your leading leg pointing towards the square leg umpire.

Vladimir and Babette start the next chapter of their lives. They were supposed to go to the rehab centre a few weeks ago but Covid got in the way. In a way it was a blessing in disguise as we eventually got Babette to use her right claw and perches on in very nicely. Apologies for the poor image quality as it come from a video screen shot.
