  1. Merida is a Premium Brand that wins a lot of Sh*t. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wins_by_Bahrain–Merida_and_its_successors Sorry No Stock of New Bikes for South Africa
  2. Yellow Route 100% OK Green Route Don't do Reeds, River Section, or the Ruins. It's Wet at the moment.
  3. By the Bike U have I thought U were riding Cross Country. Downhill is another Story.
  4. Enduro Let me Down Today. Small Hole Did not Seal (Very Fresh Sealant in Tyre) Had to Put in a Plug. It did not Even Dry on the Frame.
  5. Maybe That's Why You Crash Watching Someones Back Wheel Instead of Watching 7 to 10 Meters Ahead. Some People Can't Ride in Groups. Including Myself. Also Talking Sh*t all the Time Causes one to Lose Focus and Concentration. Been There Done That, Ate the Sandwich. I stay back 20 to 30 Meters, Enjoy my Ride and then talk sh*t at the Stops. Alternatively If you are the Strongest you can Lead the Group in Front.
  6. When You Crash Are you riding with Others or are You Riding Alone. ?
  7. You have to Adjust the Springs So that the 2 Arms are pulled Apart equally. (3 positions) The Springs could be bent and require reshaping. The Bushes need to cleaned and lubed. It looks like from the pic that the springs are not Strong enough to pull the brake cable tight or the brake cable is out of adjustment.
  8. Also try to avoid Using Front Brakes On Technical bits and Corners. 1.3Bar is my lower limit for riding at Benoni Country Club (Lots of Switchbacks but Generally a Slow Track).
  9. Edenvale Gauteng and It's not that Flat.
  10. I'm not a Scientist but 125 ml is recommended by Enduro Seal. After Six months it was Dry like a Bone. I can get 30Km/Hr on a Long Flat Section of Track and More on Downhills.
  11. How much do you ride ? Me 2022 Activities234 Distance6,414.9 km Elev Gain33,901 m I'm getting 5K on Back Tyre and 15K+ on Front (Maxxis Ardent Race). I top up Enduro every 6 Months but gooi in 125ml in each. (half bottle in front the other half at the back)
  12. Maybe Your Front Tyre is Pumped too Hard. What Pressure you running in Front ? Try 1.3 Bar.
  13. Nowdays you get Dual suspension Bikes here in the Hub for Reasonable Prices. If I had to do it again I would skip Hardtails altogether. When I got my first Dually I could not Believe the difference. Just a Thought.
  14. Did you speak to Wayne ? Maybe yours was a factory fault ! Lots of Happy Puppies here !
  15. It Actually Doesn't Happen A Lot. But When It Does It usually leaves U Stranded. I like using the Chain Ring Bolts that Came with the Bikes on the 2X10 Shimano Systems. The After Market ones Seem to be weak and Flimsy.
  16. Soon Road Bikes will also get suspension. And Why Not ! Manufacturers don't want to give us everything in one go.
  17. Those Bolts are Easily Over Tightened . Locktite does Not Help in this case .
  18. Going from 32Tooth to 34 Tooth makes very little difference 6,25% This Means that 30Km/hour becomes 31,875 km/hr. Range Extender Did Not Really Work for Me but many people Swear by It. The Answer is to Purchase a New 1X12 System with 10-50 Cassette 36 Front Ring This will yield a 22.5% Improvement (10% + 12.5 %) This means that 30 Km/hour becomes 36.75 Km /hour
  19. Showering / Washing Feet before cycling should help as well.
  20. MERIDA athlete Lennard Heidenreich wins Sudety MTB Challenge https://www.merida-bikes.com/en/news/detail/1095/MERIDA+athlete+Lennard+Heidenreich+wins+Sudety+MTB+Challenge
