  1. Stans might not work as it contains no fibres. It's Propylene Glycol + Latex + Water To Plug Puncture in Tube Some Sort of Fibres like Cellulose or similar are needed. https://www.notubes.com/pub/media/wysiwyg/GIS-004_R3_Stans_Tire_Sealant_SDS_GHS.pdf The Best Results I had is from Pre Filled Genuine Slime Tubes. (expensive) Even these holes can open again when tyre is inflated and the tubes only last about six months. After six months the sealant becomes faulty and stops fixing punctures. I did manage to patch them by using sandpaper before applying the glue.
  2. Yes you can "puncture fill" any tube if the Valve Core is not removable. Use the Genuine Slime Brand, you can get it at Sportsmans. About 80 mils
  3. The Market is Depressed at the Moment. Bikes are selling for a lot less than their true value. A 2018 model (Probably 2x10 or 2x11). Expect Less than Half of What you paid for it.
  4. In any Analogy you have to have a constant. (Science and Math, Nothing to do with Bicycles) I'm changing from the 17 to the 15 and my BOT riding the bicycle can only pedal @ 70 RPM.
  5. Dont' buy this text above. His Analogy is Incorrect. A larger Ring does cause a larger change of the Speed of the Back Wheel. The gaps increase. As per Table Below. Front Ring Cadence Gear RPM of Rear Wheel Change in RPM 38 70 17 156,4705882 38 70 15 177,3333333 20,8627451 36 70 17 148,2352941 36 70 15 168 19,76470588 34 70 17 140 34 70 15 158,6666667 18,66666667 32 70 17 131,7647059 32 70 15 149,3333333 17,56862745 30 70 17 123,5294118 30 70 15 140 16,47058824
  6. In Order to Spend less Time on the Large Rings of the Cassette the Chain ring size should be 32 tooth or 34 tooth. Spending too much time on the large gear destroys the cassette. Using Large Rings 36T 38T also Increases the Gap between gears which results in bad performance when accelerating through the gears. The only advantage of large rings 36T 38T is faster top end. Modern Mountain bikes are designed and shipped with 32 Tooth Front Rings.
  7. Why do you say that ? Have you tried it before ?
  8. I decide to make some according to u tube video. Startup Costs R257 Formula for 1 tyre in this Order. Ammonia 20 ml Rubber(Latex) 40 ml Anti Freeze (Ethylene Glycol) 40 ml Water 40 ml Put 2 Level Tablespoons of Braai Pap Inside the tyre. (It wont go through the Valve) It's Holding Air Like a Champion (Let's see what happens when a puncture occurs)
  9. Scott Patron What do you make of this ? https://www.scott-sports.com/za/en/patron-eride
  10. It does'nt Work Like That. A Lighter Bicycle can benefit the Light Weight Rider as Well as the Heavyweight when riding a flat surface or Climbing a Hill. Lighter Wheels and Tyres can also benefit both Light Weight Rider and Heavy Weight Rider. When Riding Downhill ???

  15. Use Shield Car Wash 5 Litres for R150 +- Even Neat it does No Harm. Alternatively Tap Water. (Neat) The Person Who Washed the bike is responsible.
  16. I was there Today (It's Wet).
