I've entered the full Xterra. My first one. How hard can it be?

Co2 canisters are not allowed but Ive always kept them in my bike box that is too big for them to scan and never had a problem. Better than marking your seatpost just measure from top of saddle to centre of pedal axle in downward position. This way you can adjust any bike quickly to your exact measurement.

Here is my Alan that I rode in 93/94. Blinged it with full Dura Ace 8 speed to very fine detail that includes DA hubs, qr's, chain. I think it was the first sti groupset released by shimano. Move to the front of the bunch on the fast sections so that you start the climb at the front. Then hopefully if you are not to fat you will be at the back of the bunch when you reach the top. (If too fat then you will be off and never see them again) In that case I recommend to get into traithlon as you will need the time trial skills for those long lonely sections. An Ironman or 2 will also help with the weight.
