  1. Wicked! Also wicked is Bradley Weiss (RSA, Somerset West) taking the age group cat competition - overall and for U23 Edit: BTW, he did it faster than the caveman....... Brad 2:11:23 Caveman 2:12:11
  2. Just don't pass out behind the wheel
  3. I think he made it 'controversial' enough just to earn some badges
  4. Orbea Dealers FLUIDLINES SPORTING Unit 15, Gants Plaza 7130 Strand (Strand). South Africa Tel.: +27 21 853 0000 Fax: +27 21 853 0001 info@fluidlines.co.za
  5. how about you ask on their Fb page? https://www.facebook.com/groups/171371496221984/430825700276561/
  6. Unfortunately so
  7. I notice that the other day but thought that it was my PC's time that was out
  8. Well, it depends on what brand of wheels they are...... LOL!
  9. Beslis nie ekke nie! geniet dit
  10. I think I found the perfect tool http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=14&products_id=55
  11. Bleak man! Really hope he finds it then
  12. Top of Franschoek Pass this morning:
  13. Some of the guys have the seeding but not the mass bunch riding skills. There were guys (I experienced two in the A group) who kept switching wheels and not holding their line. Having your front wheel taken out by a tjop is not a cool feeling!
  14. Well then, get the cops to deliver the package in plain clothes?
  15. effing sharks! (no reference to the rugby team)
  16. try niels wheels tomorrow? LOL. On a more serious note - any distinct features on the bike? If I am going to switch someone's front wheel, it had better be the right bike
  17. Bleak dude! Will keep a look out my side of the world tomorrow when I go for a ride
  18. That and the fact that there will be a bigger bunch going up Smits and possibly cause more stupid moves from guys trying to get more towards the front.
  19. Those stats are not bad...... except for not summiting Franschoek pass Join the Andrag group or follow the Durbanville Area Roadies (thread) and join some rides. The fat will disappear fast (I lost 15Kg's in 2 years and I still want to lose more) with the correct diet (controlled intake) and regular training. Back to OP though, I average around 30 to 32 depending on how I feel. Carrots (guys ahead of me in the distance) are my weakness I set my sights on catching them and go for it
  20. heavy days?! Wonder if they are going to charge TAX on the weight when it has landed in SA (assuming it is an international order)
  21. The more swim 'fit' you get, the better your breathing becomes. I was always told to do bilateral breathing but as the OP said, it is uncomfortable. When I still did swimming competitively I would breathe every 4 strokes and if I found I ran out of air, I would breathe on the second stroke, sometimes mixing it up 4,4,2,4,4,2, etc. The idea is to limit the disturbance of body position in the water. Hypoxic work is good but not for a long distance race. I am sure it has it's benefits in the pool. I used to swim a 50m sprint without taking a breath after leaving the starting block. 1500m swims I breathed every 4 strokes. A buddy of mine (mariusl) did the total immersion thing and he said it improved his swimming dramatically but he did join a club as far as I remember.
  22. That is possible yes, but Boyes makes the Sub3 that much sweeter don't you think?!
  23. If I had the time I would come patrol that stretch for you guys....... not a cop or anything but I am sure a UK13 biker boot would leave a reminder I have had a few cases where I am riding in the yellow lane and cars come as close to the line as possible and then veer away after they pass. Ah, motivation to get a GoPro mounted on my bars. Now to have my minister of finance agree
  24. I want to build (or have built), something like this as my Bantam's tailgate. 3/4 lines of text. Should get the message across I would think?

This is where the guys get it wrong. When a potential client walks in, go to them and ask if you can help. If they say, yes. Inquire as to what they are looking for. If they say no, let them know to give you a shout if they do find something they need assistance with. Then also keep glancing in their direction to ensure that the person s not trying to get your attention. Simple - you give initial attention but don't unnecessarily hover.
