  1. What do you guys do for hydration on extended rides considering all these bikes have space for only one water bottle?
  2. Try this. Import your ride from TrainerRoad (fit file) to Garmin via Garmin Connect and Discovery should see it as a Garmin ride.
  3. What are the quality of the tools like?
  4. Suggest you check with Vitality. I think Vitality doubled that amount during the lockdown.
  5. I use Ant+ to connect my Samsung phone, (tainerroad in on my phone) Garmin 820 and heart rate belt to connect to my smart trainer (Elite) and it works very well. I've also used my Samsung tablet which has Ant+ built in.
  6. They will price match any item you are looking at.
  7. The Spruit below Delta Park gets pretty busy.
  8. I'm on the Endurance Option and I'm still getting my normal points on my IDT. One hour with HR above 70% = 300 points.
  9. I've mounted my old 26" MTB on my trainer which has been great. I've also found that the MTB gives me a more upright stance which is less strain on my back and shoulders on longer sessions.
  10. They answered my mail last week the same day that I sent it.
  11. I've had a smart wheel-off trainer for the last 2,5 odd years and I must say it has been one of my best spend rands on cycling equipment including my subscription for the training program that I use. I guess the Covid lockdown may have made it the best rands ever spent!
  12. Towels as mentioned and a large fan is a MUST! TrainerRoad for structured programs and Zwift for riding with mates. I listen to music when doing heavy sessions or various TV/YouTube when doing recovery rides.
  13. https://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/shimano-xt-8100-12spd-chain-116l-oem Best price on the this XT 8100 12 Speed chain? R550?
  14. It hasn't dropped for me either. I'm still on 1200 points.
  15. I don't bank with them or have a credit card so I wonder how this will work!
  16. Where's the home button!
  17. Get a decent bike stand! I bought a Parktool years ago and one of my best buys!
  18. I need 1200 points a week as endurance athlete and I hit my target quiet easily with a ride on Saturday and Sunday which gives me 600 points for each ride. During the week I do a further four rides either on my trainer or part of on the road plus gym sessions. Regularly get 2000+ points a week.
  19. Ashburton Series. Great weekends away with riding mates..
