  1. Today(12th) is yesterdays(11th) tomorrow? If he intended for us to understand that it expired yesterday he would have said valid only today?
  2. Tried ordering now and I get the error "This coupon has expired"
  3. That's interesting, country of legal residence changes everything, now much easier and more convenient than if you were doing it in Sa, even if you were here. Being a legal resident of Nz probably also makes you a less dodgy prospect to be given a visa to those countries, especially considering how Nz has tightened up visa restrictions to Sa, a development which no doubt has been noted by other countries.
  4. Is it this the cloth filter - R150 for a pack of 3: https://www.truthcoffee.com/shop/equipment/re-useable-coffee-filters-toucheefeelee/ How long should each cloth filter last if used twice a day and looked after? What material are they made from?
  5. Thanks, are the cloth filters available for order on the Truth webstore? Would be great to order it at the same time as the ABID
  6. That's a good question, can't see any other way than flying back to Sa and going to the consulates there, have heard of many instances when people on holiday in Europe etc have to do that because you can only apply for those visas from Sa. Unless you are lucky enough have passports from an Eu country or UK etc which may allow online visa applications.
  7. Do you guys also sell the cloth filter for the ABID? My Able brewing S/S metal Aeropress filter is still going strong years later and the convenience of a reuse-able filter is a winner! What is the correct grind for the ABID?
  8. And easier/quicker bike/frame swops.
  9. Don't drain the lowers oil first and service with the forks upside down(handy if that is feasible), not quite the same as RS service?
  10. The train wreck of logic that forms the bulk of the thesis's espoused on this thread continues to careen all over the place. We have as a majority come to the wise conclusion that during a trip on our bicycles it would be foolish to believe that our heads are stronger/better protected without a helmet on than with one on. We wear our helmets when riding with confidence and screw motorists and those idiots who have a bizarre idea of "false sense of security" when riding with a helmet, NO my shins/knees/elbows/butt/thighs/wrists/collarbones/ribs/spine/neck/ankle etc enjoy no "false sense of security" when I don my helmet, that idea is patentedly retarded. Over and out [emoji14]
  11. Yes please, would like to have an alternative to the aeropress!
  12. Some arguments on this thread remind me of this pic. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170106/647db5e8306b5836e2ea38074db2815a.jpg
  13. Damp squib, Friday dawns and all we are left with is cold left overs. For crying out loud, any fool can see Icecream forehead is just cherry picking the stats to suit himself(as he has admitted more than once) and his tin foil hat is blocking his common sense. Come on! Am I right or am I wrong?? Read Skybarra's post above, that man is on to something!
  14. You have viewpoints and reasoning skills that lead me to believe that you can only be a cabinet minister from Sa's very own ruling party? No wonder the country is a shambles when half the cabinet is busy on Bikehub all day.
  15. Can you differentiate your foot from your elbow? Because you are going so far down the rabbit hole based on conjecture you've left common sense long behind.
  16. This guy is headed for Mensa. Congratulations!
  17. A little IQ test. Question 1: If dealt a rough hand in life and therefore required to headbutt a tree or light pole running at full pace would you go with or without a helmet affixed to your skull?
  18. Sweet ass bro? Sjoe, things are different down there in Nz
  19. I don't need a study or scientist to understand that if someone hit me on the head with a 10-pound hammer I'd be better off with a helmet on to mitigate some of the blow than just my skull. If a person can't appreciate that then I'd have to say that they must have grossly unsound judgement.
  20. I thought this debate was not about the usefulness of helmets(they are without a doubt useful) but rather if we must get our panties in a very tight(and uncomfortable) knot when we see other "stupid" people not wearing helmets? Some people have way to much spare reserves of worry and anxiety, I have enough of my own problems to not need to contemplate why another guy chooses to not use a helmet, a decision that in all truth may have no negative effects on his life and if it does well I'd feel sorry for him. You see how far ahead I'm jumping to get from seeing the guy with no helmet to him suffering brain trauma? Chill okes, only one life - don't spend it engaging in paranoia, worry and being a control freak!!!
  21. Who really gives a faq if they do or don't wear a helmet, let them do as they see fit, it's their nut to crack. I ride without a helmet from time to time, amazing sense of freedom, no matter how well a helmet fits it still feels like pudding bowl is stuck on your head, it sucks. Granted with no helmet I generally take it easy and ride accordingly. When I want to take chances I always wear a helmet but for the first 25yrs of my life I never wore a helmet and never did it cross my mind that I was a crazy risk taker, and I'm generally quite cautious. Helmets suck but they are a necessary evil
  22. How do you get a good grip without the side mounted handle skinning your knuckles?
  23. That does sound to good to be true, never seen them that cheap.
  24. I saw that deal without looking closely, almost bought a spare thinking it was an original, blatant rip off. Onedayonly aren't stupid, they even used Aeropress reviews etc. Shady
