Some sellers incl amazon etc will refund the vat if you can prove its coming to Sa, most won't unless you ship with their carriers to your Sa address. Using ASG means you will have a local Uk/us address on your order and hence be charged their vat and then Sa vat/duties when it arrives in Sa.

Probably more like a R120 savings because the ASS MAGIC is only 200ml. That being said for suckers that pay R150 for R120ml of chainlube R140 for 200ml of ASS MAGIC won't seem so bad. Where can you get that Milking cream/balm from, I'm assuming pet stores won't stock it

Are you going to fix Cobus's one free of charge or send him some new ones? (If you haven't already). They aren't cheap so at least they should work 100%, especially if the guy went all out and supported you from the beginning..

Those are pretty damn expensive, if you buy one locally will it have the crash warranty, ie you get a replacement for 50% off or something to that effect if you get mashed via the head?

That's a good point but cannisters can add up, especially when you have an annoying tyre that won't mount.

Very handy product price isn't so crazy considering bike industry prices.

Field of view - Gopro's use a very wide angle lens, rather distorted fish eye type perspective if the subject is close up, linear mode removes the perspective distortion, not sure how exactly but it it looks much better, for close up stuff like interviewing someone or showing a closeup of something etc. The higher the quality the better the video image but the faster the memory card gets filled up and image stabilisation can't be used at 4k. Hi Fps means smoother footage at normal playback rate and the ability to make super slow mo videos from the footage. For most uses 60fps at 1080 is plenty, if you want super slowed down then do 120fps or of you have a special need for high res footage them go higher quality 4k etc but for most situations that's probably a waste of space(on the Gopro itself and clogging up your computer hdd space, 4k files are enormous).

Suppose it's a consolation that they weren't pistol whipped/shot/raped/hijacked/murdered/armed robbery etc. Theft to varying degrees is everywhere since time immemorial, the violence that accompanies it in Sa is the hard pill to swallow.
