  1. Agreed, touching up with a few layers of matched and thinned paint with a fine/soft bristle art paint brush works really well. A medium sized airbrush also gives superb results, they can be had for around R500. Did some touch ups recently and was very impressed with the results with a brush and airbrush, little chips and scratches with the brush and larger areas/clear coat with the airbrush.
  2. Make sure you get the extra fine Able brewing metal filter, amazing, my filter is 2yrs old and still going strong
  3. Interesting, wonder when they'll come to market?
  4. Awesome bike, that thing is pristine. Had one a few years back, addictive, perfect power to weight ratio for me.
  5. Woolies is not bad and pretty much on year round sale, less 10% with Woolies card, gets you 500g for around R75
  6. Not from what I've heard, despite the price they can have as much sidewall leaking /weeping as the non protection versions. Don't understand how such an expensive tyre from a top tyre manufacturer can make tyres like that but there it is.
  7. Can you post the info here please, not all of us are Facebook acolytes.
  8. Maybe the machining on the Kalbo ring isn't too tight and the rough edges have to be worn off before it's smooth, how does the teeth profiles look when new?
  9. Well it's definitely not terrible but they good try harder in the looks dept, it's just that swingarm fabrication that lets them down.
  10. Nah that swing arm is just plain ugly, looks the the 1st generation Shova before the versions with the CNC magic on the swing arm. Sorry!
  11. How's a pic or 2, those must be pretty enormous, do they run true to size?
  12. Just saw this on another forum: Jura F50 coffee machine in excellent condition. Just been serviced by agents. This machine is like new - made approx. 370 cups (to give you an indication they typically make 10,000 cups plus without any issue). It has a large water tank, big bean hopper (around 200g), large grinds tray etc. so you don't need to add water / beans / clean tray too often like the smaller machines. No box or manual - just the machine. New filter just installed. These were around R15k new. Selling price is R7500. Located in Woodmead, JHB. http://www.avforums.co.za/index.php/topic,49503.0.html
  13. Thanks man, dropped you a pm!
  14. Installed works rather well, could do with adaway but I suppose that's the price you pay
  15. Thanks Grebel, is there anyway to access the sportsdevil content via a browser window?
  16. Where can you watch MotoGp streaming online?
  17. I wanted to get a pair from them but no sizes, seems like since that bug sale they aren't getting new stock?
  18. What options are there for ordering trail running shoes online? I'm leaning towards a more minimalist show or just a lower heel drop
  19. Ow, did you get it stitched?
  20. It's those yellow accents on the rims, not complementary or a happy clash with the pink/purple. Some powder blue on those rims will surely improve the flavour?
  21. Is that Coldplay?
  22. Styling! Is it solid?
  23. Candy apple red, can never go wrong! Going to look amazing, Vespas hold their value and age so well, love them.
  24. Cyclists are sitting ducks, an attacker can knock you off your bike at the last moment as you pass and then rob you while you are still dazed. What can you do other than make a wide berth around any vaguely suspect looking people that you encounter, not that there's always space or time if you are riding at speed? You just have to take the liberty shots on the chin.
  25. How's your drivetrain doing after that serious application of grinding paste? I stay away when the mud gets like that, riding in mud is awesome but not if it costs a few Rk to sort the bike out afterwards. Rather Ss all the way in that case.
