    To the guys using ZWIFT. Do you know if its possible to connect two trainers to one computer and ride at the same time. I cannot find anything like that in the info or the ZWIFT site This can be done on CVT with the "Real partner" function

    Trying to find some info about the 2016 event but their website has not being updated. Does anybody know if its still on and when.

    I am a bit lost here and can'f find the answer scrolling through the topic. My STAVA still linked to Vitality. Does that not count any more. What does vitality accept now - Garmin Files / Trainingpeaks ??? Also looked at the Vitality web and it still shows my Strava as linked

    Congratulations to our girls, after all they don't select themselves. But we are going backwards as everything else in the RSA. If memory serves me right we achieved 1st and 2nd last year in the time trial. Ashleigh 1st and Heidi Dalton 2nd. Now we are happy with a 3rd. The girl that won was 5th last year - in my book that is progress.

    I have the following to sell: 1. Around 1986 Bianchi Frame with Groupset - this frame is a nickel plated metal frame that's been resprayed. 2. Shimano Dura ace Groupset - no idea of year model See full details in the classified section PM me for more photos and details

    I have this Bianchi not sure of the model to sell. I finished the build with an old Suntour groupset excluding wheels and BB. Anybody that can give me an estimate on the value. Frame was cleaned of all old paint and whole frame was I think nickel plated. Then resprayed, decals added and clearcoated. Will post some pictures of current status later.

    Was a great event. I agree that the last 10 sucked but apparently that was due to a local farmer given short notice that his land is not available and organisers had to improvise to get the distance close to the advertised 80km

    Remember most people are already in or on their way to Cape Town with their bicycles. Cancelling the CTCT there will be no organised ride and all these people will hit the various roads in any case. That will also spell chaos in my dictionary

    Wat jy waar kry? I phoned them 3 times to get Easton wheel straight pull spokes and every time got the answer "I will check quickly and phone you back" Still waiting to get a response.

    I have two Retro bikes for sale: Tomassini with Campaq groupset in perfect original condition Bianchi frame around 1986 model restoration nearly complete with two groupsets to choose from - Suntour 1980 model - Shimano Will post more details and photos in Clasifieds later today.

    My apologies for only getting back now. Attached a picture - not the one I've got - but look exactly the same. No name on it as it's being used a lot before I got it

    After cleaning the frame I sanded the "Nickel Plating" with 1000 water paper just to get a bit of roughness on it. Used Edge Primer as undercoat and then 2K Celeste that a paintshop mixed for me with extra hardener. Spayed with el Cheapo gun bought from the paintshop. As soon as the decals are on the full frame to be covered with 2k Clear.

    Thanks QB - This is a real home project so doing everything myself. Ordered decals from the UK so just waiting for that to continue

    Bianchi Built update: - attached some photos of the progress from completely stripped to painted. Now just waiting for the decals to arrive then the adding of equipment can start.

    I am busy with the rebuilt of my Bianchi Record 920. Attached some photos of the frame after prep for painting as well as my plan for the finished bike. Hope to get the painted frame back early next week

    Thanks - Got hold of Emile. I Started stripping the paint from my Bianchi frame (it's a Super Rekord 920 frame) and to my surprise the whole frame seem to be chromed. Is this normal. I am also looking for a Italian Thread Square tapered BB - if anybody know where I can get one will appreciate the feedback.

    Anybody have the contact no for Hunter Cycles in Braamfontein. I did go to their website and send an e-mail but no response sofar.

    You can also try Cycle-Art in Walkerville. Cliff has done some amazing work for me. You have to take the frame stripped from all equipment to him. Pm me if you want his contact details and info on a private person that can strip and rebuild for you.
