Alan is listed as a possible medal contender, of which we have very few.

I'd say he has a 15% chance of a medal at best, he has been consistently in the top6 for this olympic cycle, but not enough 123 podiums to think he can pull it off on the day with so much pressure. plus pidcock and mvdp will be there to complicate things further.

Honestly, the whole gold silver bronze metric is not conducive to an inclusive games in the modern era. Anyone who makes an olympic final should be measured on the table, instead we only get the big countries and a few outliers.

All this is 100% correct and I agree.

Alan is riding out of his skin, if he wasn't thats one thing. He's there at a time where everyone has guns so its whoever draws first.

A bit of power play between Victor and Martin. Martin was trying to impress upon Victor the importance of team work. The French have 2 slots for the men and two for the women in Paris. The women will most likely be PFP and Loana. The men is  a bit of a turkey shoot.

    Joshua Dubau

    Victor Koretzky

    Jordan Sarrou

    Adrien Boichis

    Titouan Carrod

They're all a bit desperate to get early results. Kossman I think is qualified already

Aah. I see. Doesn't seem specialized...

Don't leave it there. You might pull in there to get a bill for storage, or it was sold to defray expenses.

You're right. Let me go get it. Masters is on hold anyway, weather

13 Years without DSTV for me @ R800 per month saving without interest.
    R124,800 in my bank.

    No coming back for me.............

This is lekka. Question, did you save the 124k?

    💯

July 2018 (post Tour) was when I ditched their service. It was R969/month at the time.

Current spend on streaming is R270/month (two providers), so savings is R750/month (rounded) or R54k by July this year.

Also no going back for me.

    This is fair 😎

We kept the "Family package".  It has all the Afrikaans channels (not that I watch it)

Sports .... you have a lot of "words" there .... not seeing any WHEEL sports on that list though ....  Lost my appetite for dstv decades ago when they dropped WRC, as in World Ralley Championship.  (okay, I am aware that they now have a wheels sport channel ...)

Frankly, I will rather be out there on my bike than sitting in front of a tv .... actually glad dstv helped me to get off the couch ..... o-damn ... did I just thank them ....

The only way dstv or any other provider can work for us, is if I can "view on demand".  I am not shifting my routine around a tv schedule.  But this is a different topic ...

This was a solution for me for ages until motorsport started.

This might not be a popular opinion on here, but I must say, I enjoy my DSTV.

    1) The wife (and I) enjoys some of the series.

    2) Enough cycling/motorsport/UFC/tennis to keep me busy for a long time. If it is not showing, I go ride my bike and catch the highlights later.

    3) DSTV Now available to any of the kids not staying with us. (only 1 at a time, but still)

    4) I hate struggling. To go and find a different channel/VPN every time we get geo blocked or whatever, is just not for me.

I guess each to their own, but definitely DSTV for me.

@Koos Likkewaan 2 mate am with you. A lot of people are tech savvy, but when I heard, GCN, VPN, KZN, login, watch upside down, make sure he water is hot I said that was not my portion.

Cursig under my breath, I went to pay and lived my sporting life in peace. And when GCN died I won't lie I loved seeing the VPN, KZN, OBGYN crowd coming back in droves (and just not telling anyone) 🤣
