  2. Let me try that again. Not for sensitive viewers..
  3. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement 10 cup glass jug for a Russell Hobbs filter coffee machine. My search so far has been fruitless.
  4. Great initiative, good way to get fit again and learn some stuff along the way. Centurion here so Red Barn may be an option. Also looking for a slow & unfit road group on this side.
  5. Sounds like a lot of fun. Should be cold though. Enjoy!
  6. Always great to see improvements. When viewing adds (on the PC) I have noticed that one now can no longer just click on the picture to enlarge, I preferred that as opposed to having to click on the enlarge button. Also, on the topic of viewing adds, have you considered the option of the add opening on top of the main screen with the option of closing it again and thereby returning to the same spot? Much like the FB marketplace.
  7. This is very cool thank you, I live very close to where you do. I will have to try this route once I get my bike.
  8. I stay so close to this and I did not even know about it. Thanks. Welcome to Centurion Ezra.
  9. I like the idea of that. A lot! So my wife likes the idea (read colour) of the Merida Big nine 500. But it seems like stock is depleted everywhere. Any suggestions in this range? https://bike-addict.co.za/collections/mtb/products/merida-big-nine-500-2020
  10. So, the Titans above the Spez? Good suggestions, thank you. Perhaps something slightly better for me? I'm not really into tinkering and upgrading every once in a while.
  11. Hi My wife and I are in the market for MTB's. I have been trolling the online sites but I am not sure if I am missing something. I would prefer to buy new. Please let me have you recommendations. Let's start off with saying around R12K for my wife and R15K for me.... I'm looking for the best value for money hardtails for weekend riding, shorter races etc. Thank you.
  12. The AL329 2019 looks like good value for money as I'm looking to replace my wife's bike in that price bracket. Or am I wrong?
  13. Garmin Fenix 5 on sale. https://www.onedayonly.co.za/fenix-5-5s-or-5x-plus-sapphire-sport-watch-multiple-colours-available.html

  15. I'm curious, what would be 'cheap'? I'm also currently scouting the classifieds and I have no idea of courier charges. For example, would it be worth it buying a MTB in Cape Town and have it couriered to Centurion Gauteng?
  16. Some creative posts on here! I am starting a project of building a fairly large farm-style dining room type table using an old reclaimed solid wood garage door as top. I am considering thick turned legs. Does anyone know of someone in Centurion or greater Pretoria area that can turn or sell wooden legs?
  17. Very useful analysis, thank you very much. You mentioned some factors I did not even consider.
  18. Hi, any opinion on this? https://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/titan-calypso-v-20-inch-2019 VS https://signalbikes.co.za/collections/kids-bikes-2020/products/2020-starlet20-mountainbike
  19. I'm in the market for a 20'' bike for my daughter. I have taken note of all of the above, but am still just interested in a bike that she will enjoy and gain confidence. Nothing extreme and none of those expensive brands. Any recommendation where I should start looking? I am based in Centurion.
  20. Thank you for sharing... your information is not helping my decision making one one bit!

  22. True, but it must be noted that trade marks is class specific and obviously should not be descriptive. So, hypothetically speaking, one would not be able to obtain a trade mark registration for 'Apple' for your fruit shop (its descriptive) but for your computer shop it's a different story (not descriptive of your goods)
  23. Also valid :-) I do however not know why wait so long. There may be endless reasons. Foreign IP law is somewhat different, I am still looking for a more detailed article on this. Anyone?
  24. Valid, but the date of registration of the various trade marks also plays a role
