Yeti is sweet thanks! A bit small for me but otherwise great. A real fun bike. That yeti dh looks awesome. Get a large one and then sell it to me in a couple of years! Btw what happened to your izimu?
Makulu is probably the fastest dh bike there, and the izimu the most bullet proof. Plus its good to support local. Although its hard to find a really bad bike at this price range.
Amen to that Martin. If it aint fun, its work. Pro racers are at work on the bike. 3,256 seconds matters to them. For the rest just chill and enjoy the ride.
Bugatti veyron supersport is also quite nice . Its funny how the hub is either people showing off new bikes ( no problem there) or people dissing them. Like the rest of the world I guess.
Take off the bar ends and gears and you would have the worlds lightest( and coolest ) single speed! But it is sweet as is. Rode a fully rigid recently, reminded me of the early days when there was no suspension.
Bit sad really. Been riding those trails for a couple years on and off and they are awesome. Managed to keep them hush hush for a long time till the last few months. Suddenly all the hidden entrances were opened and there are skidmarks all over the roads. Put a lot of effort into those trails but anyway...
Does anyone here work for a bike mag? Would be interested to hear their side of the story. It seems to me that there are 3 mags trying to compete for a small market and all trying a different approach
Helium has weight like any gas. Better to suck all the air out and have a vacuum. Some race cars have air tight chassis tubes with a valve and a pressure gauge. You can pump up the chassis and if the pressure drops on the gauge then you know there is a crack somewhere.
Got the as x. Got the frame and rear shock off the hub for r 1500 ! I thought that at that price it would have problems . The only thing was the seatpost was stuck in the frame. 2 hours of q20 and swearing and its out. Cant wait to ride.
