Cool . 2 tracks to try. One dh and one am. Gonna try both asap.

Ok guys lets get those times up. Top of dh 2 down to the bridge at the bottom of my roots. Take the long route around the dodgy wooden bridge at the sandy section. And post the type of bike too.

Personally i love that bit above the berm. I have ridden it at least a hundred times over the last few years. Ok include it then. Its a good bone shaking warm up!

I actually think that the timed runs should start at the top of the berm. Otherwise the dh bikes will have bit of an advantage. I will do the track from the berm on the hardtail and the dh bike to see the time difference. It could be close i reckon.

The new track starts and finishes at the same places as dh 1 but is way less rocky and more fun. The jumps take a while to get right but when you get the rhythm right its super sweet . Low flying through the trees. And all smooth on a hardtail. I have done from the top of dh 1 to the bridge at the bottom on my dh bike in 5 mins 20. With fitness i could get under 5 mins easily i reckon. Top of dh 2 to the bridge 4. 30 ?

Will give it a bash in the morning. Start at the top of dh 2? What about the new track?

And i will be the second to apologise for missing the build day. Was at work in stellenbosch till 5 pm. Will try be there next time.

Well at least we get to ride what we want cos we are gonna build it. No whining about the trails if you had a chance to have your say but didnt bother turning up.

I am working saturday but can maybe get out by 12. I wont know till saturday though. Sunday no good. Family etc. . .

Hey guys, i am planning to go to majik forest on saturday but i have never been there before. So can you answer my stupid questions please! Where do you park. How long does it take to get up to the top of the trail? I am on a single speed. Do you have to pay or anything? Any other info would also be appreciated. Thanks guys. Hopefully see some of you up there.

Sweet. That little extra bit that you added on to the landing gave me confidence to jump it. And then i over jumped it anyway! But awesome fun.

I won a dh race on my hardtail. Cos i was the only entrant in the hardtail category. It was a bit embarrasing to go up and get the medal. But my 3 year old daughter thinks its cool. This story is pointless, just like this thread. Everyone can do whatever they want and no one should put them down for that . But we do. . .

New trail is so sweet now. Nailed all the jumps for the first time this morning. Was awesome. Then it rained. . .
