  3. I have just managed to seal my tyre after 450ml Squirt and 60ml used Stans. Tried to set up my Rapide wheel with a Gavia tyre. Went to a bike shop and purchased 150ml squirt and with the aid of my compressor, it resprayed my garage floor. Went to the shop and purchased 3 more bottles of Squirt as this was the only brand they have. Needless to say, my garage floor now has 3 coats of latex and the tyre is still hanging in the garage, I then had a brainwave and removed 60ml Stans from my other wheels and it sealed instantly. What I have learnt from this is Squirt is seriously Cr...P!!!! I am not a fan of Stans either. Tyrejuice all the way for me now.

  6. Chirp of the day!
  7. The other fellow I forgot to mention who had really good posts was Jagwil. Enjoyed his input too.
  8. Any further news as of yet? Karmi and 2Bliss? Anyone?
  9. Have mine set at just below level - not measured but approx 10 degrees, might be more at the bar ends?
  10. Good man. Keep up the humor and good spirits. Thinking of you all.
  11. So much this pic has to say. Excellent!
  12. Nice post. Help me out here. That contains olive oil from the region, right? Bottle JR labeled bottle for sale? Replace JR face on that of the commandos? Some charity sale?
  13. Hope it all went well? I usually do not attend these services but I guess this one would have been special. RIP Johann
  14. Taken! Gone. Shimano MT 55 29 wheelset CL no rotors - free. Rear wheel has a slight bump in it but it could be pulled out. Front seems 100% Tubeless conversion done. (Picture not the actual wheel) Just have too many wheels. Collection only by arrangement
  15. Even *** myself using a Dremel, seriously.
  16. My greatest fear!!!
  17. Can't help but think of Johann and Tumbles. Two of the most enlightening contributors on the Hub. Glad to have met both. Most down to earth blokes I have ever had the pleasure of talking too. Thanks guys......
  18. Try my luck here..... Do you perhaps, perchance manufacture a formal type of cycling shirt? With a collar, buttons and pockets? Your opposition do one but they have got the sizing wrong. BrickLane Bikes also have a shirt from Sweden but it is very, very expensive. Looking for something I could perhaps wear to work, tour with and not have to go out in darn Lycra. Thanks
  19. Nice.
  20. Nio, no no.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jeez, this is very sad indeed. What a master, what an interesting, kind compasionate caring person. Tough as nails! Man, this has uopset me somewhat. Went to visit him in PA once and his hound dogs nearly took me apart. Johan laughed. Rip mate.
  21. I have a rail, cage fitting and bag available in Durban. Fitted but never used. Maybe we can come to an arrangement?
  22. Real pity they stopped stocking the 9sp chains. They were wonderful.
  23. I purchased one and it does not fit my bike and have put it up for sale in the Classifieds for anybody interested.
  24. Tried this thing on my bike and no way will it hold its own long term on two bolts. My rail does not sit flush because of the frame i have so this weakens the set-up. Wonderful if you have only one bottle holder and now you have two but I would be very careful of getting this if you are not 100% sure of the fit. It is just not worth it for an extra bottle if you already have two because the extra weight might bust the system. Think before you buy. This is not the magic wand for what it is worth IMHO.
  25. Any idea on a clamp to use on the rail? I feel on a 500mm rail, clamps are definitely needed. Cable ties, hose clamp? I ask this because the supplier does not have any.
