Absolute correctness. Very well called Sir! I agree, we have very little chance.
  6. Will do prior to sale. It has been evaluated and authenticated previously but would need to do this again. It is real, no problem with that. I just need to prove it I guess. Thanks for the guidance.
  7. Nope, no papers. Has numbers at 6 under the acrylic but my eyes are also old these days. I will put it under the microscope. It says swiss - T<25 Whatever this might mean?
  8. Oh yes. Without doubt. Had it valued the other day. Frightening to say the least!
  9. Where would I find the number/serial?
  10. Certainly not acrylic! Not to me anyway. Had it for over 30 years and serviced regularly. Perfect time. Retire next week so open to offers.

  14. Been there, done that Room at the Top in PE. Teach her to order what she did on a student allowance and then go and sit at another table on someones lap.
  15. Ja, and Sir Mick is having heart surgery as we speak. (End of an era?)
  16. No, civie, before the army. Jumped with the Batties after hours.
  17. You guys make this an interesting thread. Great reading, thanks. (The first time I ever went in an aircraft I had to jump out of it)

    Who remembers?

I remember going there as a kid. My dad played for province there.
  19. And so, what is the news about everything....anybody have an update?
  20. Sorry to hear mate. Sympathy to all.
  21. What a pic! Must have been monkey ball cold there. Just love that shot!!!
  22. Or rather, obtaining a Bursary is very scarce, sure, use it how you want to, buy what you like but remember, bursaries are for you to spend and certainly do not take any advice from those whom you do not know, even though they are in the industry After all, it is your money, ask the bank?. Others after you may have even a bigger problem obtaining a "bursary" I know of four companies in the research field who have stopped this cash cow....and this is in Durban only. Use it or lose it. It is your money so use it and abuse it.
  23. Nope, we have post grads with "bursary" issues very similar, if not, the same as yours. (you should never have used the word "Bursary" as it just does not sit too well when used for "other" matters) I see you cleared this matter up but for transport issues, this does not sit well either. How many airplane fares have we paid for in this manner....... (Glad this came up on a Friday)
  24. Seen this type of "bursary management" many times. Seems common enough to even talk/boast about it here on the Hub? And as a lecturer as well? My, my, have I got this picture wrong or what?
