    Any idea on a clamp to use on the rail? I feel on a 500mm rail, clamps are definitely needed. Cable ties, hose clamp? I ask this because the supplier does not have any.

    Please dont go after a weekend. I have found needles, blood bags, syringes, body parts on more than one occasion on this stretch - seriously. And it is supposed to be a "blue flag beach" ....well it is flying the flag? Glass and other trash is collected by us regularly and summarized. When next here, give me a shout and I will show you around.

    Must have been taken before Beki Cele visit? Beaches are not that clean here anymore. Please don't question me about this but lets just say i work there and know about the pollution in this stretch. Worst beach by far.

    Back to the questions of suppliers. Is there any shop in Durban who stocks these? With all the doubtful fitting happening I would like to see the product first. Cannot believe Dirtbin does not have an outlet.

    Also grew up without a TV but listened to the wireless regularly. Thank goodness!

    I have the same problem. I would like to fit the 1030 on the riser stem but as you say, big ass computer. Still don't know what options will accommodate this.

    I have the Varia horizontal light and this one seems vertical. Year or model difference? Just asking as I am happy with mine.

    Pricy piece of kit but well worth it in my books. Extra safety at what cost? You will mot be sorry. (and you can pick one up cheaply in your neck of the woods) Do it!

    I love mine. No issues at all and feel safer with it. Also use a mirror on trips but this piece of equipment is the bees knees. Would not ride without it. It is great to have on lonely roads as it "wakes you up" when a vehicle approaches. How does one set the light brightness etc?

    Some very big names on that list. I think it will be very difficult indeed to pick an outright winner at this stage. My feeling is the betting should only open on the last day as this is going to be a close call and perhaps a sprint towards the end. Best of luck to all these brave souls.
