  1. Nite Rider Minewt X2 LED Used mine on Non stop Sani2C. alternating between dim and bright I had light for the full 6 hours of dark, and on decents strangers were calling me to the fron to light the way. I am over the moon with this light and it is compact and lightweight Try Chainreaction
  2. No Contest, The New XT's are better than the Juicy 7's, let alone juicy 5's. This is a no brainer - end of discussion
  3. Simple answer. Save and buy Hydraulic. Don't waste time and money going to cable disks, they are no better than good V's
  4. As you can see, not a coplicated piece of kit

  6. Yes, Try your LBS, DT Swiss make a really good one, but I can't see the chearper ones doing a worse job, its such a simple design. Have also seen them on chainreaction
  7. Reflectors cool/uncool Read on. A Imana team mates business partner was coming down fields hill on his newly purchased reflectors on wheels road bike, when one of the reflectors on the rear wheel managed to pivot enough to catch the frame, it jammed, ripping out and snapping all but the last three spokes. Belive it or not, the rider managed to keep it upright until almost stopped. obviously no drailer left chain stays were ground out and hub had disintegrated. Thanks, but I'll take my reflectors off. However after having a chain hop off and cut through/dammage a few spokes, I keep the funny plastic thingy on
  8. Sorry no couch, the bike wasn't clean enough

  10. Thanks Lefty and Pete etc. looks like I might need another set of tires.
  11. Yes, based in Durban, But bikes can be shipped for not too much, also have a mate flying down to CT on the 29th.
  12. Running Vredestein killer bees 2.4 at 2 bar front and back, Taking 2.2 Kenda Nevegals along justin case. Lefty, I thought the go hard and skinny in the mud way of looking at things was a wacky way of doing things, does it realy work.
  13. What size are you looking at, I have an Anthem 1 in small, and a cannondale prophet medium for sale. The prophet has 140mm travel front and back, but honestly climbs like it has a lot less, both in the R13k range

    MTB Shoes

My feeling is that it depends on what mtb shoes he has, if he has a very soft soled mtb shoe, it may be worth it. If he has a ridgid soled mtb shoe, no point at all.
  15. Go with the Dale, The Prophet is an awsome bike, and if the rush is an update it has to rock
  16. The Poms will win the kicking game 12 -9. (3 Penalties and 1 Drop - 3 Penalties. The Bokke will get two tries. 1 converted. Final Result 21 - 12 to the Green and Gold
  17. Read a wheelset comparison a while ago, (link was on the hub) where the LO's scored amongst the worst ito lateral stiffness, great climbing wheels to, scored best in simulated climbing tests.

    Ryan Cox

Condolences to all that new and loved Ryan. I can't begin to understand the emotions those close must be feeling. A true tradgedy.
  20. I'm really short, so I tought it was a cool name, Oh, and I have a Giant TCR roadbike and a Giant Anthem MTB
  21. Forget about casettes and tripples internal, automatic gearbox is the way forward, set your self up at a cadence of 90 and 220 wats, and the bike just gies you the required ratio, a lot like the cone system on the new audi's
  22. Anthem 1 is a great bike. You will not regret buying one. For 20k, you should get your lbs to throw in a tubeless conversion and some ust tyres, you will then have a phenomenal bike. I've owned and ridden a couple of D/S bikes and the Anthem 1 is the best. Did Sani2C on it and loved it.
  23. Was a XC race at worlds View 2/3 weeks back, Did not race, but rode the course, A lot flatter than the Cascades route, and not as technical. one rideable rocky descent and one portage. other than that quite fast and flowing
  24. Well on the up side, at least I wont get my hopes up again just to have them dashed, again. I'll miss big Jan
  25. Welcome to the club, The only promblem with the anthem 1 is, even a muppet can see how good they are, so exclusivity is gone. must have seen 15 at the Wartburg clasic last weekend.
