Go for Shimano components. Durability is better than Sram. I have to admit. On my road bike, my Sram wears way quicker than when I had Shimano on.

I wear a helmet but if others don't want to let them do that. As long as they ride within the yellow line etc then that's cool.

Down albert road and join cycle path at bridge that goes to N1. Sure somebody will be able to explain it a bit better. But you will end up cycling on albert road which is not the best.
