  1. If you are putting on Tubbie's then go for the Campag Bora 2's. Will suit the frame perfectly and far less busy than the ITM's.
  2. Does indeed sound like sour grapes... I think you are in the wrong here Aebro.
  3. I just sold this... Had to make way for the 2012 Sworks Roubaix

    CWC you rule

All the prices are on the site... What's the problem?
  5. The 29er is pretty decent...
  6. Umm looks like a Santa Cruz Tallboy with more travel...
  7. Tank, how do you calculate calories without heart rate?
  8. I have had the Tallboy for almost 6 months now and it is a fantastic Stage Race bike. Comfy for multiple days in the saddle, but nimble when you need it to be. Using Spez UST tyres, The Captain Control in the front and Fast Trak at the back and had no problems in most conditions and rolls well.
  9. Give the Spez a try, especially the white ones. They definitely make you go faster
  10. Great feedback Werner. Nice work for a Noob

    Welvanpass

Still a hidden gem in the Cape. Hopefully the weather holds for Gravel Travel!
  12. Stans ZTR podium would be lighter and should doable for 5k. Only for light riders though
  13. Shame Steven69, unlucky....
  14. I have a mate who will buy your W2W entry if you are not going to do it. It doesn't matter if it is Race or Adventure.
  15. Well done RiderSA87. Great buy!
  16. That bike has to go soon. It is getting into seriaaas bargain territory
  17. An event seeding will be done. should be receiving today or tomorrow I would think.
  18. Well done Kieran, nice picking! Big thanks to Frosty for all the efforts associated with running a great competition.
  19. Airbender... I was wondering. If Basso is your man and you have a thread dedicated to him, why did you not select him in your team for the TDF competition?
  20. Fizik Gobi is bulletproof. Gets more comfy each and every day.
  21. Agreed - very safe if you buy from sellers with feedback ratings 99%+. There are no duties on a frame and VAT will be determined by the value the seller declares when sending the frame to you. Make sure you agree postage cost upfront as it can be expensive.

    Spark 30

Scott Spark is great bike, but if I was buying a 26" bike, I would look at the second hand market. There are some great deals to be had as more and more people convert to 29ers. For 20k you can get a serious machine.
  23. Agreed
  24. My point exactly!
  25. Frosty if you are going to allow substitutions, then it should be for all and not just withdrawn riders. I have a few non performers I woul like to get rid of. Also what about team substitutions?
