  1. Based in the eastern Free State. Bought it from 1 of the walk in shops in the free state. Best price would be R5300 Let me know.
  2. I wonder how well the mud shedding would be on the belts as compared to chains. Check this "rigid" suspension - damn ugly if you want my opinion http://www.mi-tech.de/bikes/tykeroex_carbon29.htm
  3. Hey, I've bought a brand new KHS with much better spec than these 2 bikes you mentioned for R5500 & could get you another 1 (still at the shop & in a box), but only mediums available. Let me know ASAP if you keen so that I can reserve you 1. (PM) Specs here: http://khsbicycles.com/04_alite_2000_11.htm J
  4. Hmmm - now I'd really like to go!!!
  5. I was struggling with the compressor on my american classics & then bombed it. Just a quick 1 second (maybe more like0.75 ,but who's really checking?) then you can do 2 tyres per small bomb (not too sure the grams now) You can always deflate after a day or 2 & then reinflate again to prevent the tyres from growing balls...
  6. Green is my fav colour & this green makes me green (with envy of course) Will have a ride on 1 of these beauties 1 day, but I'm afraid that this is the loophole to trick the last couple of 26er diehards into the 29er game.
  7. Brand new KHS Alite 2000 (only Mediums - sorry) R 5500 SLX groupset with the exception of XT rear dedrailleur & Deore crank. 10 speed with RST air shock. Review & specs here: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/bikes/mountain/product/review-khs-alite-2000-11-40998 http://www.khsbicycles.com/PDF/khs_alite_2000_uk_shootout.pdf PM if anyone's interested. J
  8. Misunderstood yes... Yeah post some pics once it's done!
  9. HMM - Can you arrange some pics for me? PM or mail. (but then again, you have to pm to get my e-mail )
  10. OK & what have you paid for yours since it's 2 years old?
  11. How much are those beauties selling for?
  12. Didn't see any option to "unquote"
  13. I wouldhav'e k@kked myself for sure. I don't kill them in nature, but when they in my yard (on the plot) & close to my loveed ones- family / dog etc. then he has chance to play hide & seek while I fetch the rifle...
  14. You should keep it a secret cause you might just hear about another bike-jack
  15. Not too sure which year model this is, but I'd give anything (well almost ) to get me 1 of these beauties!!!
  16. Voted! Good luck!
  17. The geometry looks weird, but I guess you have to if you wanna have those BIG wheels & long-ish travel. A small will look even weirder I suppose. +1 on the REIGN!!!
  18. +1 as well
  19. My brother had a similar problem on his 8speed shimano drive train a while ago. He rode his first chain way past the 1.0 mark & when he replaced the chain (cheapy - not too sure the brand) it jump on the lower gears as well. We then replaced the cassette as well, but with no luck. We then found the bearing on the rear wheel was a tad loose & we tightened it & voila - it was fixed. Also check the shifters & adjust like half a turn backwards or forwards (maybe to full turn) Just a last stupid question: Have you put the rear wheel 100% back in it's position? Meaning not scew at all.

    Fork Oil

It's fairly easy (if you are a techy type of person) + there's lots of videos on youtube to show you. http://www.youtube.com/user/SRAMtech/videos?view=0
  21. R10K is too much for such an old bike imo

    Fork Oil

The thinner rings should work fine. Just tilt your bike backwards like 30sec before you out riding so the foam rings gets enough oil.

    Fork Oil

Did you get the enduro seal kit? I don't like the foam rings you get with it. I used the old rings. Just clean them nicely. The foam ring will expand, but not double it's size. Maybe like 0.5-1mm. Doen't really make a difference of the width. As long as it'll suck up oil it's all good. Their job is to lube the upper bushings in the lowers.
  24. Now for some awesome drumming! Legendary!
  25. Not for sissies, but for putzes... Only joking, but where are your helmets???
