  1. Should be enought time. Well, I've got all the time in the world (meaning no deadline), but you know how it is when you order something sweet for your bike like some Easton Haven wheels . It always seem to take forever
  2. Well on the parcelforce site it says the parcel has cleared customs on 21 sept already & forwarded to delivery depot...
  3. You guys can be lucky. I've been waiting since 16 of September for my parcel. Yesterday there still wasn't anything at PO. Farking strikers!
  4. What if you could e-mail bryton international & explain to them the service you experience locally. Surely their service should be way better (& maybe that can help to sharpen up SA's service) Keep us posted.
  5. Thanx for the reply patches. Thing is I tried the main chamber at 200psi & even at that it feels very slow in returning to home position. You know when you almost have the rebound knob turned all the way! I'll check again tonight when I get home, cause I had a terrible night's sleep as well as a terrible day with this being in the back of my head. Will update with any news.
  6. I've recently bought a brand new Shova frame with the Fox dhx air installed & yesterday I've received my revelation in the post. I then just had to put the fork on & the wheels just to see & feel the suspension! You guys know why I couldn't wait, huh? I've tried different settings & inflations to the dhx main & boost chambers, but it seems sluggish & not have a responsive rebound. Tried: 150psi in main & boost chambers. Rebound either way open or closed & in between 200 psi in main & 150 in boost chamber. Rebound either way open or closed & in between 150 psi in main & 180 boost chamber. Rebound either way open or closed & in between When on 200 psi the sag was way to little, but the rebound still sluggish. Anyone have an idea where I went wrong or have some info to share? Thanx in advance! Jacques

  11. Cool - Still doesn't seem right though from a technical point of view, but hey whoami to complain? If it works it works! Thanx
  12. I have found this on the AM Classic site http://www.amclassic.com/documents/manuals/mtb_disc130_15mm_thruaxle_retrofit.pdf Still it doesn't make sense to me
  13. but if there's space between the hex nut & round end cap then the hex nut will looen over time, won't it? Should I try to find a washer to take up the space btween the hex & end cap/nut?
  14. Hello tech hubbers, I've recently bought an AM Classic wheelset with the 15mm thru axle converter, but when the converter is installed I have the following problems: 1. The converter only has 1 hex nut to tighten 2. When the converter hex nut is installed (on the wheel) & hand tightened & the round "lock nut" is installed & turned all the way in there's a gap between the hex nut & the 'lock nut'. See pic for detail (this is the same scenario / distance as when installed, but obviously easier to see when not installed) Thanx in advance
  15. The higher end cold steels are pretty damn tough! Even the lower end knives are pretty tough as well. Watch some of the videos on their site!

  21. Has anyone used these? Are they any good? Looking at a 25mm offset.
  22. I got a reply from Simon from crc concerning the wheel conversion: " Hi Jacques, Thank you for your email. You would be able to run these wheels in your frame if you purchase the following Conversion kit. Nukeproof Kit QR Rear (Stock ID 117674) http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=34779 This conversion axle simply slides inside the 12mm fitted to the Easton's and holds the wheel in place with a standard QR skewer. I hope this information is helpful for you. Please feel free to contact me with any further questions. Thanks, Simon " Hope this will shed some light, but I'm a bit sceptic whether it'll work for sure...
  23. I went for a medium. Most guys of my length (1.78) is riding mediums & they say it fits them well. However if you will be running a very short stem like a 60mm you might rather consider a large. My frame has arrived, but I'm still awaiting merlincycles to get stock of the fork I'm looking for, so I will only be able to tell you how my beast will behave when built up... That might only be within the next 3 weeks
  24. Will add mine as soon as I get it built up. Have to wait for merlin to get the revs in stock though
  25. Cool will give him a PM!
