  1. Most of the Tygerberg trails can be linked together if you are a member, which is now very affordable for the rest of the year. If you string them together you can get a nice long ride in with some hectic climbing as well.
  2. Well done Grebs, you big boy!
  3. Hectic Vettes. Good luck with the recovery!
  4. Here is a good deal for you. https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/91795-2013-specialized-epic-comp-29er-med
  5. Write the stories first. Once that is done, you have numerous options to get them out there. Digital publishing will probably be the cheapest option, or create a blog, where you post the stories on. For either option I will be able to help...
  6. Edit: Sorry, went on past info, which have changed, I see.
  7. Well Andrew, we will definitely need the sign for one side of the room at this stage...
  8. But that does not say much now, does it? The love between Gen and Max Knox has more emotion than the entire Twilight series.
  9. Ties up perfectly with this... https://www.facebook.com/groups/167009350174871/
  10. Wyatt, you've got mail brother!
  11. What? She is just planning on klapping the time-trail on her fatty. She needs all the help she can get by wearing lycra and a TT helmet...
  12. But is milk not a drink?
  13. If available yes. Anything that will either make you crazy enough to do it every day, or help the legs recover to do it every day. Even a chocolate Steri Stumpie...
  14. I have two words for you regarding the sore legs. Recovery Drinks It makes all the difference in me being able to ride the next day or not.
  15. Thanks ichops. Going to try that route home this afternoon. Should add a nice bit of distance to my ride. Luckily I know the route once you hit Liesbeeck, as I used to commute to Plumstead, before I moved to Epping, workwise.
  16. I know, I know. You come sort out the 3 kids in the morning, then I will be there. In the new year things will be better, when life return to normal again, with wife going back to work etc.
  17. Ditto. Could you share your route please, as I would like to extend my ride every once in a while as well. I go via Century City, through Kensington, and have wondered if there are ways that I can extend my ride in the afternoons back home.
  18. Where in Pinelands, and why via Woodstock? Might be an alternative route for me to take, just to keep things fresh.
  19. Where in Table View will you call home?
  20. You should not have major issues commuting. Yes, Woodstock has high traffic, but it is also the hipster hub, so there are plenty of people on their bikes, at any given time. The commute will be fun, and definitely worthwhile. Give Hairy a shout, as he knows more about what is what around that area. I do Table View to Epping almost every day, and I love every minute spent on the bike. The Tygerberg trails is awesome as well, just a pity that a knob got Kliprug closed down this week. Would love to give him a personal PK, as kliprug was such an awesome trail.
  21. Out in the desert, RIGHT!!! You do know that you need plenty of water to keep nuclear reactors cooled down, hence the reason they are usually built next to big bodies of water...
  22. Quite a lot of sexy right there!
  23. CF, you guys ROCK! You had no obligation to try and help me out this morning with replacing my derailleur pulley wheels, but you went above and beyond what was expected! Believe me that you won a new loyal client this morning!
  24. Hairy, how much would you let them go for?
  25. Maybe tweet Helen Zille? Lucky for me I don't go through the Paarden Island area anymore. There were some major holes there the last time I went through there. My biggest issue is the pedestrians at the Mutual Station that can't look 10m in front of them at any given time, or look you in the eyes and still not 'see' you.
