  1. All time fave indeed... Although, I prefer the one where he dresses up as the Doppler Effect...
  2. I go into Olympic fairly often... I've seen a few SL's in there over the years. Still perve over them!
  3. I have a few choice words floating around this skull of mine right now...
  4. Out of interest (purely) what does an HD frameset cost these days?
  5. I still get the tinglies when I see those Mojos... Truly is a beautiful piece of kit.
  6. The difference in a nutshell depends on the type of nut, as well as the proximity of squirrels and ambient temperature. More squirrels = larger differences in the nutshells. Higher ambient temperature means more difference in the nutshells. The difference between an acorn and a pistachio is more than the difference between a peanut and a walnut and the same acorn.
  7. Capricorn's already offered me his partially used pair thanks, Mr Squirrel! I've got my HR on the back and the Minion on the front. You doing Urban Assault?
  8. Amen to that! Every time I get onto my XC bike I have a mental facepalm. The Elixirs are just THAT much better. Also helps that I'm able to run my DH bike's shifters inboard of the levers though, thanks to the removable display on the shifter...
  9. It is amusing. It's just not "politically correct" It's the same as all the christian, jew, irish, blonde, Van der Merwe and yo mamma jokes. Someone's going to be offended, sometime, but it is a normal attempt at humour, taking into account historic stereotypes and the way that we as modern humans should be able to look at them and find the humorous side and (Shock! Horror!) laugh at ourselves.
  10. What about the Minion? Less RR than the High Roller AFAIK but grips like a muddafugga. They're heavy, but you can get them cheep cheep @ action cycles... And they look sorta like a rocked out Nevegal.
  11. If it's the older type 20mm thru axle, then you're going to have to get your allen keys out and loosen the bolts manually, like you used to do with your BMX back in the day. There's a solid axle that runs through the hub, and the older ones have bolts that secure them to the fork. And yes, they are a beeeeyatch to get out if they're not greased!
  12. in the region of R 350 to R 500 or so, depending on the bike. Full susser will be more, for obvious reasons.
  13. Ha. Ha. Ha. That's now the FIFTH time you've tried to link me to CWC or imply that I am somehow Chris Jnr's alter ego. It was funny the first time, maybe even the second. Refrain from doing so in the future.
  14. Epic are great. And Lance WILL phone you before doing anything on your bike, and leaving you with a nasty surprize when you pick it up in the afternoon...
  15. disgusting! How the h3ll can anybody do that to a living, breathing person, let alone a child! Sometimes I just don't know...
  16. Nice! Those new xt's look the biz with the surrounding cage... Or did you get the ones without the platform/cage? I still reckon you're falling into the trap of "one better" when getting the brakes - the XO's are nothing but hyped up elixir CR's, that went on the atkins diet... Yes, they look mightily cool, but your CR's would be far better with a set of braided hoses, right? Just giving you some options here, mate. Nothing worse that dropping 15k on parts when you see that the same result (and sometimes a better one) could be achieved by not going for the glitter, and speccing it up with aftermarket upgrades...
