  1. This post is gathering some hate for cyclists and shares on FB....I'll try to copy a link here... https://www.facebook.com/john.easton3/posts/10159165745381202?comment_id=10159167560646202&notif_id=1608805786601374&notif_t=feedback_reaction_generic&ref=notif
  2. https://www.facebook.com/groups/380712042451530/permalink/991803318009063/ I'll just leave this here. Much wrong doing from both sides..... Anyone know details?
  3. I've been trying to set up Zwift on one of my old laptops to use as a dedicated indoor trainer computer but am getting the exact same error. Zwift support tell me it's because my laptop is not high enough spec...
  4. My new ride: TCR Adv SL ISP SRAM Red eTap Easton EC90SL
  5. Then wait for the 2017 Anthem 29ers to be revealed. Everyone is quick to make assumptions on what hasn't been said. 2 days ago you didn't know any of the range.....
  6. My latest Giant ????
  7. Ok there's the first issue - I see it's set to not include zero's in power averaging. I'll just reset that now. Thanks for that
  8. Would like to post a pic of the power data but not sure how? But it reads: Av Power: 287 Max Power: 1241 Max Av Power 20 min: 275 Normalised Power: 281
  9. Exactly. But that's what is says
  10. Ok I'm new on the power training game. Just got a Stages meter on my road bike running thru my Garmin. So far I've done no tests, just a few rides with it, and had it on for a crit this past weekend. Now from Garmin Connect for the crit it gives me an average power for the whole event of 287W and a max av power of 275W for 20 min. How would you guys interpret that? Total crit time was 1hr 09min
  11. Great review I'm riding the same set up on my mtb - single shifter on synchroshift - and agree with everything you say. I have customised my S2 setting to change the front ring a little earlier and I'm very happy with it. I rode Sani2C with mine and the battery level indicator dropped one bar (out of 4) for the entire event.
  12. Here's my baby....
  13. And Vector is limited to road bikes.........
  14. I'm a roadie, an Mtb'er, and yip.....a Harley owner. I sense an awful lot of narrow mindedness in this thread. Each of those 3 "elite" groups I belong to have their share of chops. The Hub too.....
  15. That's rough Bryan - so sorry to hear. Hope you somehow get a lead. Guys I've worked on this bike - it's a work of art. This is what we are looking at: Merida Scultura Team-E, in Team Lampre Merida colours, Full Dura Ace groupset, Garmin Vector Pedals, Zipp 303 wheelset (not Fulcrums as per spec). http://2014.merida-bikes.com/en_int/bikes/2014/Scultura+CF+Team-E-310.html
  16. The biggest issue you have is with the angle of the tow hitch. I made a wedge plate for mine so the rack sits level. Once you have a level rack, the bike angle won't look so bad. As someone said earlier, the support bar effectively changes distance from it's mount as it arcs up or down. So in the level position it's effectively at it's longest. If it were vertically above the wheel position when level you'd pick up probs with taller or shorter bikes.
  17. I've got a brand new 2013 large frame Merida Reacto 904 on the floor @ R16k. Full carbon frame and Shimano 105 groupset. Just I'm not in Gauteng tho.....
  18. I would go with the Lite. Although the fork on the XT Edition is great, there's nothing wrong with the Manitou. XT is a great groupset too, but having said that, SLX is also great. If you planning on racing then go with the Lite. The frame on the Lite is way better in my opinion (and clearly much lighter!). And by the way, I am a Merida dealer....
  19. Merida 29ers in XL are 23" so a good option for taller guys
  20. He rides like a machine! Pity he behaves like a tool at the finishline
  21. How much does that fork weigh? ie, what would it weigh with a "real" fork?
  22. I've got the new Big Nine Carbon Team. What an awesome bike! At your price range, the 3000 will be a really good bet.

    Merida Jersey

Any Merida Dealer should be able to supply you one. I'm a dealer and although I don't have them on the shelf I can supply. PM me with size and details if you would like me to quote and get you one. Cheers Wayne
